To Me Western Female Popstars Like Beyoncé & Rihanna Are Too Egotistical Honestly I’d Rather Listen To K-Pop Groups Because They Are All Talented At Dancing Sure They Cannot Sing As Well As Beyoncé But They Are Actually Likeable Unlike Beyoncé & Rihanna Plus Taylor Swift May Be The Biggest Thing Today But She Does Not Even Have Half As Much The Fame As People Like Michael Jackson, George Michael, David Bowie Or Even Nirvana & Daft Punk.

The list of musicians on this list make me summarise… no. it's just not music that's made for me and/or my taste. I have immense fondness for fem musicians, but just not ones of pop as we know it today. It's bad TO ME because it hurts my ears to hear and lacks that which makes music become… a divinity to me. You gimme Ellen Foley, Joan Jett, the wonderful Kate Bush, Cyndi Lauper, Bôa, 4 Non Blondes, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, No Doubt, Siouxsie and the Banshees, TINA WEYMOUTH (OMG GODDESS HERSELF IN MUSICIAN FORM!!!), etc. etc. and you see that I DO love music made by women, and respect women and their creative (and non creative obviosioulsy but this relates to the creative) pursuits. But it's just… these ones don't make music for me. And that's ok! I know what's music for me. It's more often not music made by women, cause of misogyny in the era and popularity and airtime given to Women in the times that music feels for me, but like… that's a third category, a second valid category, a category which asks- is the genre/style/type right for my viewership?

A while back, my sadistic friends made me listen to a bunch of (relatively) modern pop albums by women and people of colour in order to see if I am ready to "defy my bloodline". My thoughts are as follows:

Red, Folklore, Evermore, Lemonade, and Emotion are legitimately good, but not something I ever want to go back to.

Everything else that I can recall was the same inoffensive slop that you've heard every time you've watched TV or gone outside in the last 40 years, except for the one Cardi B album where she looks like the Rumor Weed, which was really obnoxious.

However, The Velvet Underground & Nico, and Remain in Light. Therefore, I no longer hate women.

It's a weird take to say people who think Beyonce sucks equates to misogyny and racism. Naw man, I just can't stand her music. I think it's all terrible. And that's not an invalid opinion. I know a few people who like her music, but truthfully not many

You people really lack critical thinking skills. This is why opinions are so useless. Not liking Beyonce means you're probably misogynistic and racist? Are you seriously that stupid? I don't like Beyonce or Taylor Swift. Oh but I'm a white male so I guess not liking Taylor is misogynistic but not liking Beyonce is misogynistic and racist? The stupidity 🤦🏼‍♂️

Great videos but not enough female artists mentioned that you should hate. Highly recommended despsing the Tramp Stamps (or at leastnthe label that shoved the group together to act as faux-woke puppets). Absolute garbage with hardly any redeeming qualities that has been dead and buried for a few years.

Two labels people use for others they don't like that have never made sense to me as negatives are "transphobe" and "misogynist" like being those things are supposed to be bad things.

So with Beyoncé, I never really got the hype. I’ve listened to some of her most critically acclaimed stuff and it all has an aura of sameness. I’ll say she’s a crazy inventive performer but I just have never really felt her music, and she started a lot of musical trends that I’m not a fan of, she’s just not my cup of tea.
