Can we go at the guy here 8:54 with a 🩴 please ?! 😫 I’m kidding but fr I’m getting tired of people touching animals like if you REALLY love animals you would know that most animals don’t like to be watched…..I’m just annoyed.😑

The policy i always have is:
    – never go near a wild animal
    – if an animal approaches you, try and get out of there
    – if you can’t get out of there, you stay very still and very calm
    – never go anywhere in baby season. Jesus Christ. That will end terribly.

I didn’t realize that the sea lion had already nipped at the little girl before it grabbed her. That definitely makes me feel very different about the parents and their concern for their kid.

My Dad and his family lived on the beach in SoCal in the 1930s, and he talked about swimming in the ocean with “sea dogs.” He definitely did not take them seriously.

I'm an animal lover, seeing these 'animal lovers' not doing the basic respect and invading their space fuels me with rage. humans are so stupid.
A real animal lover should not be doing this. I hate these type of people, disrespecting you and your space.

    1) Californians are astonishingly self-centered. Each individual Californian thinks they are the center of the universe (source: I've lived in LA, the SF Bay-Area & the Central Valley). That includes their activist groups.
    2) There are Sea Lion caverns in coastal Oregon that you can visit via elevator & tunnel — but they make dang sure you can't access the pinnipeds from anything but a distance. (Because Oregonians are NOT Californians and understand that there is more to the world than themselves.) The stench is astonishing and overwhelming, even at a distance. 8 years later, I STILL remember it.
    3) I learned to fear the Sea Lion from an episode of The Simpsons ("the pitiless bark of the SEA LION").

Bto never stop the alliteration. It makes us smarter by affiliation. Expanding understanding while reprimanding and disbanding brainrot handing debuffs so people cant think.
Its just so euphoric that i can help but live for it.

I can’t stand people and their egos. They think they’re entitled to everybody’s bodies, including animals. Like, just stop!! Get some help!

Growing up on the New Zealand coast line. I’ve had countless encounters with seals. Fishing from the same rock as they are lounging on and never had any problems. I’ve even had them bring me fish when I haven’t caught any. Just give them their space and respect them they’ll do the same

On Yellowstone, when the fluffy cows yeet someone into the stratosphere for getting too close, nothing happens to the bison. We just say "stupid tourist"and move on. Self correcting problem. They should do the same. A few people ignoring the warning and having their life subscription cancelled, and maybe the respect due will return.

As a beach lifeguard on the east coast, even harbor seals to the general public do not get the respect they deserve. When I clear the water on my beaches after a seal sighting, and people ask me why they can’t be in the water with a seal, I explain that even if they have no violent intentions and are purely curious, they are still almost 300 lbs of muscles. People still tell me ‘i think i could beat that seal in a fight(yes a legit things someone told me)’ and ‘oh that’s not very heavy i’d probably be fine’

Omg I got bitten by a squirrel when I was 9 the next door neighbor had a Rottweiler and it went after a young squirrel and the only way to save it was to stick my hand through the fence and grab the squirrel and pull it through to my side it bit the “ friendly word” out of me I had to go to the hospital and get a rabies shot and tetanus shot and that’s how my mom found out I’m allergic to tetanus shots it was real scary to be my mom for a while there. Did I learn my lesson? Absolutely not I still jump head first in and save animals and have had to get 3 more rounds of rabies shots and they are VERY painful but as long as I see someone/ thing that needs help ima help. Now let me clear up for the record am i crazy enough to try to save a sea lion or anything else that could red rum me? Nah but I’ve jumped in the middle of a pit bull fighting ring soooo

People really do need to smarten up in how they behave around wild animals. If a manmade beach accidentally became a perfect place where seals can safely have their pups, then let the seals have the beach and some space.
