The opening credits of the TV miniseries John Adams featured several flags, including some not mentioned here.
Some of them are being used in a partisan way nowadays, a bit as saying, "I am more American than you."
Seriously? Reading other threads here, it seems that a big chunk of the American population thinks they have a right to expel, or even annihilate, the rest of the population on political grounds.
Remember the flag with the cut in pieces snake. Your enemies thrive on your mutual hate.

Anyone would think the US is the only country with a flag, like they think that they're the only free country in the world as well as they are the only country with freedom of speech. My country's flag is blue with the white constellation of the Southern Cross, with 5 white stars as the other nations around their region only have 4 & that's because my country is the only country that can see the 5th star in the constellation. Even tho that's the colour of our flag it's not actually the my country's national colours

And I wonder when it will get its 51st star, what about 100 years from now? Will it ever get 55 stars? 60 stars? Ever change the amount of stripes or completely change? Only time will tell.

What was the significance/symbolism of 5 vs 6 vs 7/8? Pointed stars? Were there not more derivations as more states gained statehood?

So, basically, if something happened, but there were no official paperwork saying it happened, then we can just assume the stories are untrue. Because documentation can never be falsified, right? Pics or it didn't happen. LOL.

Early colonists wanted a "pure white" empire in the land of Americas, but decided to bring races of other colors into their "pure white"" colonies. Weird logic, y'alls. You forgot the Natives lived here.

I’ve painted many versions of the flag, but I enjoy the Bennington and the SC “Moultrie” flag (granted a state flag and not a United States flag). This was a great presentation. Learned much.
