We are in a post-truth reality. AI is simply supercharging the most basic human condition of all. “Opinion”. Humans incessant need to avoid cognitive dissonance, means we will always seek “alternative facts” that reinforce our ingrained bias. AI will simply provide “the unscrupulous” the tools necessary to make this easier to manifest.

There is always a major news event close to an election . Is it fabricated ? Some time it is and it doesn’t even have to be true . I would hope the intellect of the majority of voters can see through the ploy to steer their action , meaning how they vote! Current local events and progress is relatively good. There’s plenty more that needs to get done and it can only happen with Biden steering the country Trump is total disaster. No matter what whacky news event happens as we near the election.
