they need to have safety measures for the access control of cockpit .. i feel these incidents are preventable . the system is faulty.. have a control center override such situations

This really scarred me. My brother had gone to Spain on a school trip, and I had gone to Germany a year after him. To think this could have happened to us is scary

no staff should leave any pilot alone in cockpit and other staff should have access card.that can access.the cockpit even if it locked from inside.

I really can't think of a more selfish, vile act a human can choose to do. And shame on the authorities for allowing this man to fly planes who is known to have mental disorders.

It doesn't matter how incredibly unlikely it is. Somehow there has to be a failsafe system in place to prevent this kind of thing. Maybe AI can provide the answer and a mass murderer pilot that locks himself into a cockpit can be remotely locked out of the controls allowing an AI auto-pilot to take over which includes unlocking the cockpit door immediately. Otherwise, it does not help saying it is very unlikely.

I’ve had no problems with planes, only been on a handful of full. But been watching a lot of these types of videos, really makes me appreciate life so much more.
