im gonna get so much shit for this: i am israeli, and i want to respond to something you said, its true the majority of people here did go through idf but not everyone, there are ways to not get enlisted or have them release you from enlistments, albeit somewhat tough to do, i for example did not enlist, i got profile 21, its a military profile you end up getting for not being medically fit to serve

and i want to say that not everyone here supports the goverment, theres MANY people who oppose what the goverment does and denounce it, plenty of us dont want this genocide plenty of us want peace and find a solution for everyone

plenty of soldiers too, dont fully support the army, not everyone goes to fight or into combat units, some just do common desk jobs, considering enlistment is mandatory and not everyone gets to be freed from it, they rather have a role that they dont have to do much, besides sorting files for example as they dont want to be a cog in the machine, they are forced to

the reason i call it idf and iof is cause i cannot deny as well, that their systems and the iron dome did its job when iranian missiles did shoot into here, the system did help save civilians, though it kept us safe its not foolproof, some places did get directly hit and many places got damaged and destroyed by debris civilians did lose their lives here too, amongst them are people denounce the genocide and goverment too, its very morally confusing but i was in the end saved by that system, it defended me and others like me too

overall its an interesting video and i like it
things are not easy for israelis like who share my view, we get assaulted and hunted abroad by pro palestinians despite being pro palestinian too, you can be pro palestinian and pro israeli too, and in the country itself theres plenty of hate crimes from all political directions, so many people are so extreme and its sad to see and experience, the current terrible goverment ran by netanyahu is ruining everyones lives
