INFO: Gladys Lazer is nomadic music. The solo project of Tel Aviv born musician and drummer Gal Lazer distills a time when he had no home and travelled the world solely on music. Recorded in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and in the countryside of Southwest Georgia, the debut EP, Candy World/Bye Past, features eight instrumental pathways: sonic vignettes that combust breakbeat, post-jazz, krautrock, and trip-hop in a cycle of pastoral daydreamscapes and ragged electronic dirges: all percussive, melodic delights. Gladys Lazer is tinted with the instrumental excursions of 90/00s Chicago experimental rock, coursing with primal, terrestrial rhythm, cut with fragmented noise and eternal trip-hop.
