Ms. Slotting needs to be the politician who'll be training, sharing her knowledge, perspective with newly elected people to Congress.
Seems like even the newly elected people with refreshing, great ideas to accomplish in Congress end up falling under the spell, into the clutches of their parties, becoming political hacks who suppress and/or abandon their individual beliefs and goal to march in lockstep with party leaders.
Slotting seems very firm, committed to her idea of what needs to be done, and the best ways to go about accomplishing those goals. We need more people in Congress who have the guts and determination to remain an individual thinker, even when standing under a party umbrella.
