DREAM SCENARIO – Everyone is Forced to Dream about Nicolas Cage (and it’s incredible)

The movie is pretty pointless, its basically just 2 hours of paul being humiliated over and over. It feels like the writer knew some guy like paul and really hated him. Every single scene is just him being somehow insulted or shot down. It is possible the writer meant for the entire thing to be a dream since there is a scene in the real world where a light switch doesnt work which is a common dream thing. But regardless the film had a fun premise that is just so ugly in execution. Paul goes to a diner, everyone hates him and is rude to him. He gets his food spit on and then gets beat up. Its practically a BDSM movie.

I really like this flick. Just rewatched it with friends. It's so strange, awkward, funny, and uncomfortable. With shades of horror, too, for poor awkward Paul having his life ruined by random dreams. I just dig it. Cage's face is the best part of it. Every other scene, he just makes a face that makes me laugh. It's a ridiculous gem! 😂

I actually relate to paul's "creative" or lack thereof, I have been plagued by a script idea I have but when it comes to starting it I just run a blank, it is the most annoying thing ever I have not been able to move onto any new idea's and when I try transcribe what I want into a beginning my mind goes blank, I feel like I will be like 80+ by the time I finally get round to it XD But any other art form I simply cannot focus on anymore (used to do drumming and other stuff but now all I can think about is this damn horror script and how to get it out of my head)

I've seen some of the most brutally shocking and disturbing movies ever made but this movie made me so uncomfortable I could barely finish it. It just made me really sad and angry.

That movie didn’t have a plot. It didn’t answer our question why are we dreaming of Nic Cage.

I hope you can review Longlegs, I seen it and now I can’t get Nic Cage out of my nightmares.

Everyone would buy that product, because that´s how fucked up we are nowadays. Hell people do everything on camera already for money and fame. Plus you could also insert ads in dreams like in Futurama so that´s a nobrainer right there. The ending is honestly a pretty good message on the depravity and greed of our time.
