I am 4 years late to the party, but the unfortunate truth is that shamwow really does work. I had a not brand name shamwow that we called a shammy that was like 14 X 10 inches. I used it as a whole ass towel for swim practice, and it worked better than a regular towel and dried me completely off in like 1 minute, including my bathing suit. It could be wet and still absorb a bunch more water too. And it dried so much faster than a regular towel and was a tiny fraction of the size.

When the Wendy's commercial came on, I somehow instantly remembered how bad it was and had to lower the volume to mitigate the extreme cringe.
Also the I'm still fuming over how they made the shamwow look so effective in the commercial. It was pure ass.
