I started watching casually explained when i was 18. Now i'm 22, watching this as i'm going trough this exact same phase after moving to a new town and fiding out that making friends whithout being forced to it is actually quite the task.

i know this video is one big joke/sarcasm, i just want to tell that from my experience, friends you only know from sports/other activities all have their own bubble (their own friends) so it isn't as good as it sounds… i'm going out literally every second day with some people to go skate for a couple of years now, but whenever i ask them if they want to go for a beer or even just play a game with me, they come up with excuses and start to maybe even avoid me for some time to make sure i won't ask again. sad, truly, but i get it. meanwhile all my old friends just grew up and have a family/no longer live in my country. it kinda feels like i have to try to force my way into other people's lives, but i'm on a lost position because when You see someone seems to not have any close friends, You think there be something wrong with him, or he's just a bad guy once you get to know him.

I just find a single person in a room and get to know em and then just chill unless they don't want that, in which case I'll just find another person to talk to. Rooms of people and trying to talk to groups is always tough.
