Blonde Redhead – 23 – ALBUM REVIEW
Andy from the FensePost Indie Music & Vinyl Blog looks at one of his all time, desert island, top 5 records: 23 by Blonde Redhead on 4AD. The album is the 7th release from the band, the second on 4AD, and it came out in 2007. Andy breaks down why this album stands out for him, highlights some favorite tracks including Spring And By Summer Fall and The Publisher, and talks about how it differs from what the band released before in that they seemed to go all in on a dreamier, more shoegaze-influenced sound than their earlier art-rock and experimental days.
