They're definitely doing it for nefarious reasons, and it's absolutely targeted. Just look at all the conservative youtubers that have been unfairly shut down over the years.

To me, it's because YouTube / Google doesn't want to give too much money now and also because their algorithm is not working very well, just like their AI. But the problem is if they continue to be so restrictive, people are going to upload their videos somewhere else, like on TikTok, or on another platform even with fewer views. You know people, right? The more you demonetize or ban their videos or pictures, the more they do worse somewhere else anyway just to show you they don't care about your decision. So … are people crazy? Yes, indeed. The world is crazy. Hehe!

This video should show content creators that whoever the fudge "Swagbucks" is or any other phone game ad that their channel will sponcer is dead af but will live in the undead realm of an app no one has heard of, doesn't exist or just so unpopular no one cares about the 1:30 minute ad the company paid so much for and so little downloads they got. Jon gotta earn his cash though. But seriously?

That's what I'd call that a "dead ad" for the company or "sell-out" for the person making the add for the money gouging corps. It's that everyone has to watch so many corpse rot because a YouTuber needed some cash. What a messed up system, kinda like selling yourself but for your opinions. If Jon recommended me the Halo TV show, I'd know not to watch it because HBO paid him to say things.

Also crying about people not donating you money to your patreon while you give free content out is the same expectation as a homeless person washing window screens if you didn't ask for it but you like clean windows. Didn't ask you to do this, you did it, and now you want me to pay you for something I could have lived without? begging is gross, take what you get, if you don't like it, go earn it like everyone else.
