My biggest beef with this movie (aside from the fact that they all act like Anna is some special amazing creature when she does nothing interesting ever) is that it makes sense for Anna — a single woman — to have a crush on Michael. But it's absolutely INSANE how quickly Michael had feelings for her when he thought she was engaged to his brother… Like, even if I met my sister's new fiance and he was the most handsome man I'd ever seen in my life, there is not a single part of me that would even begin to think of him in a romantic way… Especially not after like 20 minutes, when they didn't have any kind of special connection in any way.

I thought you were going to say the fake fiance was actually gay but plays along so his family will stop questioning him. It felt like that kind of plot. I almost saw this in theaters sheesh 😂

I have been loving finding your content on Facebook, and having watched two movie reviews in succession, I realised what I needed to do was go onto YouTube and watch ALL OF THEM!

So now I’m sad because I’m caught up.

But also happy because this has been such fun!

In conclusion, I’d like to share some suggestions for reviews:

Eat Pray Love – It’s just so awful, and Julia Roberts is shallower than Shallow Hal.

Music – the terrible, awful travesty brought to us by Sia. I had to shout at this film several times. So bad it makes me angry.

Prevenge – a work of twisted genius from the sublime Alice Lowe.

Cats – I’m sure you might have done this already, but it’s the one film I have tried repeatedly to get through, but can’t finish.

Ooh, you like Aussie films! FX starring Bryan Brown is fun but terrible.

The Robert Downey Sherlock Holmes is just… indescribable.

    Personal Shopper is frankly bizarre.

Drive Angry is the one Nic Cage dilm that does indeed drive me to anger. It’s also the only Nic Cage film I’ve accidentally watched twice. I got half way through before I realised it wasn’t deja vu, I’d just blocked the first watching from my mind.

Keep doing what you’re doing! I love your content an immense amount, and you are crazy talented with gorgeous hair. X

I can’t believe The Duke of Hastings did this movie. I hope he didn’t leave Bridgerton for this. He’s way better in Bridgerton, this movie is below him.

Fun fact that rap song was on my labor play list for my first son. Dad and I sang along while I bounced on the birthing ball "six foot two in a compact, roll back, luckily the seats roll back!"

This movie seems like it is formatted a lot like the 90s movie “while you were sleeping”. Only it worked a lot better in the 90s when no one had cell phones. An entire family being confused about a new fiancé seems impossible while cell phones exist. They would text him right away “dude you’re engaged?” Him: “no…” the end. Lol

Can we not with movies normalizing/romanticizing sleeping with strangers? In this day and age?? Where the Taint brothers are treated like heroes by way too many males???

Truly had me cracking up, as someone who lost their mother young I don’t think my first thought would be to tell everyone I meet and it had me dying in laughter . Like “oh hi my mom died” ummm ok thank you for the trauma dump nice to meet you.
