Very cool list! Mekong Delta's Principle of Doubt is also worth considering as one of the best thrash metal albums back then. I also was expecting to see Overkill, but I certainly cannot complain about your picks!

Killing Technology, The Ultra Violence, World Circus, and No More Color are absolute bangers and are in my top 15 favorite metal albums. No More Color is my favorite album right now, Eternal Nightmare, Dimension Hatross, World Circus, Mental Vortex, and The Ultra Violence follow through as my top 6 favorite albums of today. All the other picks are great as well. Stay metal dude 🤘🤘

The title track on ride the lightning is the song that got me into metal.

I always liked the live versions of reign in blood songs better than the studio versions.

Never, Neverland by Annihilator holds a special place in my heart

You're list absolutely slays, all killer, no filler. I don't have a problem with it. It's a 9 out of 10. The only one I would exchange though is Death Angel Ultra Violence for Forbidden Forbidden Evil and a cheat pick I would add Vio-lence Enteral Nightmare. 🤙

My favs not mentionned would be Arise, Power of Inner Strenght, Mental Vortex, Master of Puppets, Outer Isolation, South of Heaven, Seasons in the Abyss, Coma of Souls, Beneath the Remains, Kill 'em All, Epidemic of Violence, Cause for Conflict, Lost in Violence, Black Future, Alice In Hell, R.I.P., and for sure the last Coroner Dissonance Theory which is outstanding. My main issue with thrash is very often the vocals, I hate singers that sing high in thrash, just hate the vocals in Overkill, Vio-lence, Forbidden, Anthrax with Belladona, … etc. Bush was an exceptional singer for Anthrax too sad they put him away, guy could embelish any song in the band. Just my tastes.

Even tho Exodus is not my favourite Thrash band, I feel like Bonded by Blood is the definitive Thrash album. It may not be objectively the best, but it's the perfect representation of the genre. And there's nothing in Metal that hits quite like Baloff's bark. Always go back for another Lesson in Violence.
