I was born with cancer. It's genetic. I'm lucky. I've never felt ill. I've always felt good. Statistically I should have been dead fifteen years ago. I'm scanned, I'm operated upon. Major surgery (I was curious so took it when offered) I treat the condition as a side issue. Almost an irrelevance. I'm 65 years old. How can I be ill if I can cycle 100 miles or run twenty miles with no real effort? Is this result because of my thought processes? I do garden work for people for whose entire family are ill. Even the people living next door to them are ill! Is it that quantum effect that what you think about most of the time becomes reality? I do know that what these people think about most; if not all of the time, is how poorly they are. And no, they do not deserve it. However, something is going on. I put it down to quantum mechanics, superpositions. What do I know? I just feed wild animals and train for no reason at all.

I don’t buy it. Why do sharks and elephants have much lower cancer rates? If this applies to all animals, elephant's would have much higher rates due the larger number of cells they have compared to most other animals.

Okay slow down a little bit. Only a tiny bit of cancers could be from this. Once it's done it can't be undone. This cell, or the ones that it creates will have to be destroyed anyway. Fortunately, our immune system destroys nearly a hundred percent of these cells throughout your life, and you're constantly getting them, like hundreds an hour. Basically, we just need to focus on the immune system and not worry about this small vector of dna damage.
