If You DON’T Own Bitcoin, You NEED To See This

The Diary Of A CEO Clips | August 8, 2026

The man who owns more Bitcoin than anyone on earth except its anonymous creator explains why the US dollar has lost 7% of its economic value every year for 100 years running, and why that makes your savings account the worst place to store your wealth.

Michael Saylor, founder of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) and holder of 847,000 Bitcoin, starts with a physical demonstration. He places a stack of $10,000 in cash on the table. One hundred years ago, that same $10,000 bought an entire acre of waterfront land in Miami Beach. He knows this because he owns a house on the water and has the deed of sale. Today, that same acre costs $10 to $20 million. The dollar didn’t hold its value. It lost it a thousand times over.

He walks through every alternative. Cash in a bank loses 7% per year to inflation. Even with 3-4% interest, after taxes you’re losing 5-6% of your wealth annually for life. A house appreciates but comes with 2% annual property tax in Florida, which means you pay the full cost of the house to the government every 36 years. Commercial real estate works better because rents offset maintenance costs, but it requires significant expertise. The S&P 500 returns about 10-15% per year but comes with volatility. Gold is up 12% per year over the past six years.

Discover:
• Why the US dollar has lost 7% of its value every year for 100 years
• How $10,000 in 1926 bought an acre of Miami Beach waterfront that now costs $20 million
• Why your house is not the wealth-building tool you think it is (2% annual property tax)
• How Bitcoin returned 33% per year vs S&P at 15% vs Gold at 12%
• Why Bitcoin is the only asset nobody can seize, freeze, or require permission to move
• The reason most fiat currencies collapse within 29 years
• Why Saylor disagrees with Elon Musk that money will become irrelevant
• How to identify assets that robots and AI cannot produce infinite amounts of

    This guy!

Bitcoin is wildly volatile. Nobody has a crystal ball, but BC is as likely to burn to 0 as it is to make you rich.

He's appearing on this show, getting paid to sell us a product that he needs us all to reignite our passion for, otherwise he's homeless!

If everything pans out, the SPAX33K partnership with Google means $20 billion for nearly three years of compute power! This is just the first of many SpaceX contracts, driving revenues and profits straight up.

And all this crossing war torn borders with money nonsense, how do you cash it out? Buy collectables thats real wealth empowerment and it cannot be hacked

22:03 I want to see this guy feeding himself for $3 a day.
That's what someone who lives in a house "on the water" will never understand.
    1 hot-dog and coke from 7-11 or 1 McChicken a day 😂
When average home cooked meal is about $6-7 per plate and 1 fast food meal is average of $10-15.. nonsense

Hate it or love it, how many people need a currency to avoid government knowledge? I'm guessing not many except for criminals and GOVERNMENTS!!! For years BTC was said to be safe … until someone figured out how to hack into cold wallets. Oops. Not so safe anymore. And what about Saylor's constantly shifting narrative. HOLD. "I'll never sell." 2026. Saylor sells BTC. Oops. If the world thought BTC was valuable, he wouldn't have to convince people. It's a theory and hasn't been proven.

I'm mid 50's and my 88 yr old Father didn't have indoor plumbing until he was in high school. Lived on a farm in Eastern Kentucky and didn't even have electricity until he was around 10 yrs old. Amazing to think that I grew up with color tv's, microwaves, air conditioning, indoor plumbing, 45 minute showers, inground pool, video games, moped, sports car at 16 yrs old, etc. I never wanted for ANYTHING. That's just one generation. Pretty incredible to think about and appreciate.

    Gibberish by the bucket load.
    It makes no sense.
He is a bitcoin salesman not an educator.
BTC was meant to become a medium of exchange – that has NOT happened.
BTS is only a number you hope some greater fool wants more than you.

He’s an MIT rocket propulsion/mathematical engineer PHD, software company founder, billionaire, Which also is eccentric/autistic/ADHD/some combination of these behavioral traits…many extremely brilliant people have these smarts and lack in other social areas or actions. Partly because they are forced to dumb down and slow down to explain things that make 100% sense to them and it takes effort to explain to regular people, at a degree of borderline agitation, but it’s worth the time to him. That’s how he shows love and compassion for his fellow man, even though it doesn’t feel this way. I know this because I have the same issues, and if you know you know. Ever see how Elon Musk bounces around with half sentences, because 1000% more data is running simultaneously then regular people, and it’s kind of difficult to know if you covered everything to build understanding for the other person, because so much is like just the boring groundwork to more elaborate discussion, which is what is desired but stating the obvious is necessary but so redundant at a certain level. So don’t confuse his mannerisms for other misunderstood characteristics, he is genuine. He also is humble, transparent, and adapts his thesis as he learns, because he’s doing something never before done.
His public company is the only public company, or the first for sure to publish their financials 24/7 365 days a year. This is why QTR earnings are a non event, it’s all published all the time.
If you don’t know him, look him up and get more educated on him and what he’s doing. It’s worth your time.

Every trader has a beginning, and mine started with losses, frustration, and a lot of hard lessons. I could have walked away, but I chose to keep learning, find a strategy that made sense to me, and stay consistent. Over time, I started seeing real progress. Last month, I personally made over **$150,000 in profits**. I know everyone’s journey is different, and trading always comes with risk. If you’re just starting out, don’t feel like you have to figure everything out alone. Learn from experienced people, understand risk management, stay patient, and focus on building skills rather than chasing quick results.

In his lifetime if he put money in the bank he could get the same amount back. Not always the case with Bitcoin. And does he really think it can't be taken away. It's the ultimate pyramid scheme.

Lol. Everyone was still piling in at $120k+ because as they're continuously telling you it's going to a million $ or some ridiculous number, yet here we are back at $60k+…😢😂

Saylor has been singing the same song for years. If Bitcoin was so wonderful, why is it still and only at $64k? Probably because it produces nothing, doesn’t create revenue, and is only worth anything because a greater fool might buy it from you.

Let me buy some lines of code that have no real utility and that are purported to replace currency but haben't actually done so. No thanks, I'll buy real things that actually have utility or that actually generate income. Fvck this ponzi scheme. This guy is a snake oil salesman.

BIP-110 shows BTC moving toward tighter restrictions, while BRC-100 on BSV is built for scalable payments, data and application-level commerce. Even if you remain committed to BTC, diversifying a small portion into BSV may be the smarter hedge against backing the wrong version of Bitcoin’s future.

Remember Saylor owns BTC … NOT genuine Bitcoin

It's truly interesting that all the people commenting here, hating on Bitcoin and calling it garbage, have no idea what Bitcoin actually is. The garbage is definitely in their heads 🙂
