If you starred in "The Late Late Show" before it ended, it should be referred to as "The Late Late Late Show"

I remember how matter of fact it felt too when I was like okay I'm gonna do away with myself and I texted all my friends that didn't know the ins and outs of my situation (pretty much of all them) saying you know I'll be goin away soon so just wanted to say see ya before I leave. Looking back that was a batshit crazy thing to do and put that weight on people and it turned out they took exception to it. Not that it was a crappy thing to do I'm sure some of them were thinking it but what I was suggesting was gonna happen and I started realizing that if I left there would be some people that would have a problem with that. Even your family members that you think you've alienated like I put my parents through so much with them having to deal with me just being a total burden and I figured well they won't have to worry anymore and rationalized that it would somehow be the noble and courteous thing to do but that's not how that would've gone. It would've been me putting them through god-awful turmoil then in my last act tearing their heart out. The most selfish thing you can do cuz the pain is over for you but it irrevocably rocks the lives of others no matter how worthless you think you are

I never watched The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson when it aired because I had young children and didn't stay up that late. I have since watched every clip on TouTube and actually thought 'If I met Craig Ferguson we would get along and be the best of friends" However, after watching this podcast I realize that he would likely never remember he had even met me! Lol.
It's all good, Craig. I still love you. Love you too Neal!🎉

I think Stephen King was taking the piss when it comes to knowing about Carl Jung’s Red Book. He talks about the shadow and archetypes in several stories.

Oh? The TRUTH about late night?! Why don't you get the fuck out of here with that clickbait bullshit, Neal. You know for a fact that you're better than that.

He's modest but he did have good rapports with everybody and people don't realize the level of respect he got from comedy legends. Betty White went on the show 22 times, he and Don Rickles were like actual friends not just TV friends. Carl Reiner, Larry King, Carrie Fisher, Steven Wright, Regis… Just the widest cast of characters that loved him.
Peter Lassally unfortunately passed away between the shooting of this and now but he was the executive producer for 4 hosts: Johnny Carson, Tom Snyder, David Letterman, and Craig. He followed Dave to CBS after Johnny retired, he left for a bit after Tom Snyder left but he came back to help in the replacement of Kilborn (chose Craig). Then he retired for good when Craig left. He had nothing to do with James Corden unsurprisingly.

Having read his book American on purpose, i got high hopes for this interview. I low key expect every interviewer of Craig to ask deep cut questions, like about the killer ducks or how it was being on an episode of red dwarf. Can't wait to watch this!

Craig's bits with Geoff Peterson the robot skeleton was the funniest shit I've ever laughed at. What a delight to see them banter with each other every night, for so many years… I've missed them ever since they quit the gig.
He'll always have a very special little space in my heart because of all those hilarious nights.
