Abdul El-Sayed WINS Michigan Democratic Primary, But Can He Beat MAGA in November?

Hysteria | August 7, 2026

White House Correspondent April Ryan guest hosts with Erin to discuss Abdul El-Sayed’s win in Michigan, the latest in Republican Rep Max Miller’s snowballing awfulness, and Republicans’ ongoing obsession with Dr. Fauci. Then friend of the show, Minnesota’s LT. Governor Peggy Flanagan stops by to discuss her run for the U.S. Senate, and her favorite foods at the Minnesota State Fair. They wrap up with a very petty edition of the sanity corner.

Either some people are brainwashed, arguing in bad faith, or they really don't understand what "far left:" means. There are hardly any policy proposals pushed by the progressives that haven't already been adopted by the rest of the first-world nations. When you are proposing things that have been proven to work in every other industrialized country, that isn't "left," that's "center."

We really need actual revolutionary communists in our political conversation. That way the pseudo-centrists (who are actually right of center) can know what the actual "far left" is and they can't use the "extremism" of the real centrists as an excuse.

3:09 – I'm 46 years old, and come from Pennsylvania Dutch (German) lineage and we've NEVER had sauerkraut on Thanksgiving… but it's a New Year's Day tradition, pork & sauerkraut in the crock pot with mashed potatoes

Let's be clear on the MN State Fair Corn Dog vs Pronto Pup debate….it is like debating cornbread vs pancakes. Both are great options…but I am a Corn Dog with 100% beef hot dog from the Big Dog booths fan all day long…followed up by a piece of Big Fat Bacon covered in maple syrup. Can't wait!!!

Beth Macy, author and journalist, running for Congress Virginia 6th District is a great advocate for children! I don't do Insta, or around children under about 30. Heard so much praise for Miss Rachel I will watch her show. I am still scarred from the Barney years. (Twitch-twitch-aaahhhh, Don't sing !!)

Yes those people were being rude Miss April, they sound like the kind of people that get a kick out of making fun of people or putting people on the spot. Like the way loud mean girls are sometimes or I guess a douchebag in the frat boy community, that kind of image is what I’m getting from the drunk, in your face people who were rude to u. People are so rude & entitled anymore.
