The whole push by people on the left that we must embrace Marjorie Taylor Greene, or MTG or Tucker Carlson because they hate Israel is so bonkers to me. They don't have Israel because of the genocide or because of Zionism. Just a few weeks back, Massie was having an incredibly anti-Black rant in Congress. Tucker and MTG and Massier are white nationalists. I can get on board with compromise toward writing legislation against Israel's funding with them, but running with them? Joining forces politically? WTF are we even talking about? They are the American version of Zionism. They don't care about saving Palestine; they want to destroy Israel. I feel as if I am going friggin insane when people keep talking about how this is a great opportunity to expand the tent. But I'm sorry, I will not be in a tent with those people. I have been trying to learn to just get the opinion of Black people on matters that affect them rather than trying to impose my own beliefs or opinions on the situation. Which is really hard as an internet jackass know-it-all white progressive. But I'm trying, dangitttt! Anyway. Yeah, I opposed joining with White Nationalists (most of these people don't even have political power anyway). But I do agree with compromise and working with people across the aisle on solutions to foreign policy. But that's it. We can work together on a no bombs for Israel and stopping the genocide but not on forming a third party. HELL NO.
