In 2013. I took my daughter to see black sabbath live at the Brisbane entertainment centre in Queensland Australia. 🇭🇲 She was 16 and her first concert. And the most amazing thing happened.Ozzy spotted her half way through a song as we were squash in the second row in the mosh pit he finished the rest of the song right in front of her as he finished the the song he gave her a big smile and wave as he takes off across the stage. It was such a magical moment. 🦇RIP. OZZY 🤘

I can’t believe it’s been a whole f*cking year since ozzy passed away. I remember the last show he did then a couple weeks later his passing was announced. When I saw the announcement, I was walking toward my mom leaning against the wall cause I could barely keep my balance, she looked at me and asked if I was ok and I broke the news to her. Her and I were big ozzy fans and it just felt like a piece of something was now missing. I remember going back to my room, threw on my headphones and just BLASTED every ozzy song he ever made and when Mama, I’m coming home came on, I just cried so loudly. It was just pure emotion that couldn’t be contained anymore. 25 year old me, curled in a ball, on a bed, just red and puffy eyed with tears down my face and soaking the bed with those tears. It was just very sad. I still can’t believe that he’s gone. We miss u, ozzy. We love u. Lost but never forgotten. Your legacy will always live on through generations.

In January of 1998, my house, and everything I owned, Burned to the ground. All I owned were the clothes on my back, my Doc Martins and my Leather Jacket…which just happened to have 2 tickets in it for tne Black Saɓath Reunion tour with Pantera and Deftones at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. It was my first and only time seeing the original lineup, and I went there homeless. Greatest Show EVER!!!

I wonder if non metalheads may not understand that Ozzy was a great man. A man larger than life that caused several generations of alienated weirdos like him to feel heard, understood and loved by metal. In all metal there's some of the soul of Ozzy there.

Kelly put the death of a loved one so perfectly into tragically true words. You can never be to same person after. I have lost my Dad and all my grandparents, countless friends. I know Ozzy wasn't my father but he was my Prince of Darkness and he gave me so many gifts and never to be afraid of who I am. He also saved me a time or 2 at my lowest and made me stronger for it. His death rocked me and I shall never forget him or his beautiful family who has been such a big part of my life. May God forever bless your family! Love you guys! ::big hugs and metal horns up:: RIP Ozzy! You Sir shall NEVER be forgotten. ❤

This is exactly what I do.. I crank up the music, it's comforting in a kind of uncomfortable way..not a negative kind of way, but in the way of there will be no more new songs. That's ok though I will never get sick of listening to your music..you gave us so much..thank you Ozzy. We all miss you and thinking the one's you loved. Rest Peacefully always 🕊️

Losing the most important person in your life is like being reborn into a different world. A more lonely and pointless world than the last. It's been exactly 1 year and 11 months as of two days ago since I lost mine. R.I.P Grandma and R.I.P Ozzy. I hope they're both in better places. Free of pain and misery.

My memory of Ozzy, unfortunately, is also death related: the only time I saw him love was July 4th 2000 In Atlanta, GA for Ozzfest, and while I was there, and returning to my uncle's house, my grandmother passed away… That night, because I did not learn what happened until the following morning, was awesome, but it's also painful in hindsight.
I'm still glad I saw him in his prime – but I wish it had been different.

Kelly obviously used AI to produce the, "What I've learned about…." piece. The first part though, made me forget of her gaffs on TV especially blatantly wrong political views. I forgot about that and I'm with her on these emotions. I lost my father – he was way too young, died in 2000. So long ago. I am a different soul without him here.
Ozzy represents a lot to me. First progressive anything I learned on guitar was Crazy Train. I learned it back in 1986 or so. That changed things because I had sung along while playing his songs and I couldn't get enough. I loved all of his guitar players especially Jake E. Lee. He was a timeless piece of Ozzy's history. Still, in the end, this is about remembering Ozzy – and believe me, we all feel the loss in some profound way if we were in any way touched by his music. It's hundreds of millions of fans.
