sorry to further break reality but there is/was at least one crocodile living in the yadkin river. we were fishing with family and as we packed to leave and started walking up the hill one of my uncles started yelling about an alligator in the river. everyone thought he was crazy and said it was just a log, until it MOVED and scared away some ducks. i donno if it had a birth state of florida, somehow managed to escape the zoo, or- more likely, was an abandoned pet. either way they were eating well and was full grown or damn near it.

Don't forget the dhole, because even biologists sometimes do. I only knew of them because of Kipling. Same with black Indian bees. I would love to see a "whoops, all India" video by you. Tons of reptiles, their own elephant, murder bears, wandering cats. There is enough for probably a few videos worth of content.

It is funny that people don't realize wolves and bears exist in India when they're major characters in the Jungle Book. We probably just assume like so many movies they just stuck animals in where they needed.

The weirdest ones to me at one point in the not too distant past there was a place where Leopards, Cheetah, Bears, Tiger, Lions, Crocodile, Seals and Moose live in the same region. In Persia Caspian seals mugger Crocodile in southeastern Iran and there once live Caucasian Moose that would occasionally wonder into Persia.

Just recently in Japan they found a bacteria in a Japanese tree frog stomach that invades a cancer cell to allow the immune system to attack it and then the body recognizes the cancer cell later. Essentially, that means it killed the cancer and acted as a vaccine later to that type of cancer cell. I just thought that was so cool.
