Bro I dunno if you'll real this, but I just want to say that I've been a subscriber since the first big rotoscope video about killing the town rat. I watched your weekly uploads for like a year straight and I was never once recommended your movies on my feed.

The algorithm is ridiculous; I always watch long form content. Your movies got terrible views despite all that work, then you do a 3-minute long Home Alone parody and it gets 1.1 million.

I used to love Cherdley's long form content and I was so happy when you two were collaborating towards the end of his long form run. Now all he does is push out short slop that is just as nonsensical as AI slop.

I'm sure you're still doing fine and doing what you love and I appreciate that much more than someone who chases the algorithm, but it just doesn't seem right.

As someone very late to the channel, I had no fucking clue Joel was doing this.

I noticed Joel didn't have a lot of new stuff, but he has such an insane backlog of content, I had kind of just assumed he had been murdered or inherited a bunch of money or fucked off to Botswana or been murdered or gotten really sick/depressed or died or been murdered or something.

Now I have 12 or 13 or some stupid number of fucking full-length movies to go watch!

I really don't have that kind of time, you fucking asshole, Joel! You suck.

    Guess I'll get started.

Joel, i hope that you do read this at some point, but youve inspired me for film making and for using my creativity for things i love, you went ahead with your film career and ive been silently watching this entire way, yes. I am a animation watcher lol shots correctly fired. But your style the way you hold yourself and speak ABSOLUTE relatabilitiy in the funniest or most serious context, youre doing amazing. And it is such a long jump but its worth it to see your creations you love, those feature length films, we all love your crazy ideas. And may i say. For us all animation or comedy watchers who do understand these relatabilities and escape them with your funny animations, please. Please. Make a beautiful well thought comedy movie, think of the best jokes but remember, anything you make, we always end up loving. The most awkward to socially distant we feel it in the screen your mixed emotions have become fully scripted thoughts into so much more with your talents. AND WITH THAT ill be leaving a good detailed comment of what i thought of your feature films out of respect for my favorite most down to earth creator, best we give this not only good criticism but good outlook in how far youve gone, i lost my old account i had been following you since the first rpg animation, i dont have to hope, i know youll succeed best wishes to you joel your favorite supporter (with no money to help fund sadly) branden

It's criminal how YouTube just hid all of last year from me, I legit wondered why m I not seeing Joel in my feed I miss him. went to check on to see you've been doing amazing work. I am going to go back and watch all 12 films

I would like to highlight that not only did he do 246 weeks of weekly shorts, but they are HIGH QUALITY shorts. Like I imagine I could pump out 246 weekly shorts but maybe apart from the first few ones they'd be either repetions of the same thing over and over, or they would be plain garbage. Most likely they would be both. Hats off to you, Mr. Haver, you are truly an inspirational person for all creative people out there.

Congrats on a year of these movies man! I'll be honest, I may not have seen any of them but I think it's awesome and it's a great breath of fresh air seeing someone having enjoyed making something rather then being caught up in fame and fortune. Seeing 12 movies, free to watch to the public, not hidden, not pay walled or put on some stupidly priced platform, it's amazing and I hope 2025 will be another great year for ya man!

As someone who found you during this year of feature films, know that Full Artist Mode is rewarding for us too. Mostly us, probably, because there are so many of us hahaha

This feels like a high school class presentation. XD

I see that you've got at least 7 films down based on your channel's banner. Whether or not you accomplish your goal of 12, just remember that 7 is still pretty damn good.

One thing I can say Joel is that I am sad sad that I only just recently found your channel I was so surprised that your channel was hidden from me for so long that I literally said "how was this channel hidden from me all this time" best consistent yt channel in history

We love you Joel. I feel bad I haven't looked up your videos, I usually click on what the algorithm shows me. But I've been watching your content before you started animations and it has brought me joy and laughter for years. I sincerely wish the best for you and your friends, you have all made the hard times in life a little easier. I will definitely begin watching your videos again, sometimes I feel the algorithm shows me your content when I need it most. Thank you, Joel.

I think you should pursue what you want, and I have liked a couple of your live action videos, but I'll be at least a bit contrarian and say I don't think the animations should be abandoned, you're great at making them and it's what people love, I'd even go as far to say it seems like that's what most people watched for, they're wonderful. This world is going to be a worse place without them. I hope you feel like making more again some day, and I think a lot of people would enjoy them returning, even as they support you doing what you desire to do

Man, this will be a huge undertaking, a real challenge to both your diligence and film making skills. There is sure to be a lot of character growth, just like the character growth of the character "Thor" in the movie Thor: The Dark World.
