    The forgetting how to pay thing:
    Needing to figure out how to pray happens because no matter how hard you try if nothing happens your told it’s your fault for not being faithful enough or trusting enough in God. Because otherwise you have to accept that if God exists he doesn’t care about us and no amount of prayer will get you the miracle you need.

    As a Christian I put my stamp of approval on making fun of these "Christian Zionists". They spout what true Christians would consider actual heresy and think we should be subservient to the nation of Israel and the "Jewish people". Obviously Jesus called for the walls between jew and gentile to fall so it's contradictory to the love of Christ. I'm totally fine with light hearted jests even against my own religion but there'll always be those who spout hate no matter what your views are. All I ask is continue to show love, humility, temperance, devotion, and truthfulness within your life.

    Blew his father's fortune, and were it not for Mark Burnett, none of this garbage would be happening.

    as someone who was actually born into a cult, it's so weird to see people watching stuff like this and second guessing and thinking its weird. I went to sundayschools since the second i got conscious and this just feels so normal to me somehow 😭

    Only one objection, Kurtis:
    You target sets is too broad: Narrow it down to "hard core Fundies", "Christian Nationalists", and the like. You know, the ones who scream "You anti-authoritarian wicked sinner!!", who fantasize about turning the Bible Belt (if not all the USA) into the religious fundamentalist version of North Korea, or even "just" Russia or China.

    the christian bible says "Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."(Matthew 19:24) and
    "There are six things the Lord hates,

    seven that are detestable to him:

    17 haughty eyes,

    a lying tongue,

    hands that shed innocent blood,

    18 a heart that devises wicked schemes,

    feet that are quick to rush into evil,

    19 a false witness who pours out lies

    Here to yap about Christianity and the brain olympics as an ex-christian cult member. Just specifically about the god choosing the presidents.
    One thing you have to realize with their complex is it is both a victim and superiority complex at the same time. When they get what they want, god ordained it. When they don't get what they want, it is the devil trying to put them down.

    Also, re: "commentary on mental health" (have not finished the video but didn't want to lose this thought) I bet his PTSD will be managed or "cured" through prayer somehow. They aren't mentioning healthcare and mental health and pension etc as a good thing but as a crutch to keep you away from god OR as a hindrance to you seeking out god and instead relying on secular/"worldly" fixes.
