The Most Uncertain Country on Earth? | Inside Syria 2.0 | ENDEVR Documentary

Watch ‘Family of Death: The Fall of Syria’s Mass-Murderer Dynasty’ here: https://youtu.be/8FOQGxze8H0

After half a century of dictatorship, Syria is undergoing an historic upheaval following the overthrow of President Bashar Al-Assad by insurgents from the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). We capture the first moments of this tumultuous transition and hear from the Syrian population, torn between hope for renewal and fear of the unknown.

We followed the step-by-step process for installing new leaders from the rebel movement. From the gilded halls of the presidential palace to the gloomy cells of the infamous Saydnaya prison – the scene of brutal repression – this film lifts the veil on the vestiges of an authoritarian system. But while some exiles are contemplating a return to their homeland, others are opting for exodus, fearful of the new regime’s direction.

Who are HTS and what are the real intentions of the jihadist rebels led by Abu Mohammed Al-Joulani? What will be the fate of minorities, particularly Christians and Alawites, in this new political configuration? A unique look at a nation at a crossroads, oscillating between hope for a better future and fear of the unknown.

This documentary first aired in 2024.

NOBODY, and I mean NOBODY wants to live in a dictatorship… its hilarious the US takes out Venezuela's dictator and so many people are upset about it…. dude was a monster leaching off the people and imprisoning and killing anyone in his way. Yet for some reason some people said the US should have left it alone and let thousands of Venezuelans die trying to overthrow him themselves.
    Absolutely insane

Greetings from America. I don't think Julani is a terrorist. He's actually a hero. He saved Syria and is doing good things for the people. I'm very happy for the Syrian people.

I don't care for Assad nor the new government but what you said about Assad about killing trafficking mass murder and everything else is still happening with the new terrorist organisation that took over Syria now

For many Syrians, the fall of Bashar al-Assad marked the end of a brutal era. They now look to President Ahmed al-Sharaa with hope for a freer and more peaceful Syria.🇸🇾🇸🇾😘

Syria is on the way of becoming another Afghanistan without a dictator like Asad. Their regime change was another Psy-Ops by the CIA. May god bless you the people of Syria.

No one should be forced or be feared to leave their country that's against all human rights whatever happened during Assad regime should not be repeated again and against no one .

The US backed a dope dealing politician who indirectly amd directly committed genocide against its own citizens. Sounds ironically similar to US politicians and leaders intenrtionally selling and distributing crack-cocaine in Black communities during the 80s. They all are a bunch of drug dealing criminals.

Reportedly, when Assad's prisons were opened they found some men who thought Saddam's army had come to free them. They had been kept in complete isolation for that long.

You can't build a country when its leader a dictator or a terrorist. Assad was a butcher dictator and Alshara is a terrorist. Syria is not free until every Syrian is FREE
