#9 I was born in 1984, I don't really remember watching the Jetsons as a small kid, but I could well have, and I saw the movie. I heard what happened with Janet Waldo years later, and I was infuriated, I mean, I could live with Tiffany providing a singing voice, but taking Janet Waldo's place altogether? That was dumb, I saw a recording of what she sounded like at the time the movie came out, and she still had it. I don't blame Andrea Romano for wanting her name taken out of the credits for that one.
#3 Yeah…I also heard about this many years later…it was saddening to hear about that, I remember seeing a comment someone basically bashing O Hanlon's performance as George, I was far from enthusiastic about that…opposite in fact, it hit a nerve, his performance was great, he'll be missed. For what it's worth, Jeff Bergeman did good.

I knew it! I always had a hunch as a kid that George never used the treadmill. 😀 This was a great cartoon from my childhood. Thank you for covering it! 🙂

Late 60's early 70's kid so I fondly remember the Jetsons well.
I always got strong Hazel vibes from Rosie.

I saw the whole series in the 1990s on Cartoon Network. Still love it today, especially the original season.
Btw, in the first season, Elroy was just a regular kid. In the 1980s revival, they turned him into a boy genius, who even helped his dad at work with his programminbg.

I was born in 1976, and consider myself an Xennial. So I grew up with the Jetson during the 80's episodes. One time a group of my friends, both boys and girls, who enjoyed the show made some predictions on future episodes. I predicted there would be an episode where Elroy got a girlfriend, which everyone laughed at. A girl in the group predicted that Judy would start a girls wrestling team at Orbit High, which everyone laughed at as well. One guy said Jane would get a job, since all of us had mothers who worked. The youngest of the group said the Jetsons would get a cat. Another said Jane would have a baby. But the funniest one was George Jetson would quit his job and join the Enterprise crew.

This is my favorite cartoon when I was a kid. I did always prefer the Jetsons over the Flintstones and I'm always fascinated by the space age gadgets.
The Flintstones had live action movies, I would really like to see the Jetsons on a live action movie.

The 1998-built Publix supermarket in South Beach and the bank-now-real estate office across the street look straight out of The Jetsons. That was the second of three Publixes in South Beach, so it’s sometimes called “The Jetsons Publix” to differentiate it. (The same architect built the Miami Heat’s current home, opened in 1999).

ACTUALLY…Elroy DID NOT invent the time machine…only a transporter. Remember, the Flintsonrs are the MOSERN Stone Age Family…which means: Animatronic Talking Dinis and Animals, 'Modern Technology Conveniences', Midetn Societal Structure (1960s style) …if the Jestond REALLY Aren't back to the REAL Stone Age, it would be COMPLETELY NON-TECHNOLOGICAL, no 'english' language, no dinos, very primitive hunter-gatherer…The Jetsons just went down to the ground…OrbitCity is in ORBIT, ABOVE the Earth…think of it as the Soace-Aged Eloi meet the Evolved Morlocks!!!😂
The Jetsons movie took its plot from the The Star Trek episode 25 'Devil in the Dark'…where miners destroy the environment occupied by the Silucon-based creature, The Horta!

George Jetson was described as 40 years old, so he would have been born in 2022.
