Deepfake ads need to be illegal, and we need to revamp campaign ads/spending in the first place. I think Sanders with his whole government funding of elections isn't a bad idea, or at least a firm limit on overall spending available to politicians so it isn't this giant overbloated industry that it is now, full of dark money and PACs and all that lovely stuff.
