Critical Thinking is Dying and Nobody Noticed
We live in an era of unprecedented connectivity, yet we are facing a quiet, existential bankruptcy of the mind. Algorithms don’t just predict our choices, they shape our desires. Artificial intelligence doesn’t just assist our intellect, it threatens to replace our need for deep reflection.
This marathon is a philosophical autopsy of modern consciousness. It is an invitation to step away from the digital noise and examine the slow, systematic erosion of human critical thinking. Are we witnessing the final evolution of human convenience, or the tragic obsolescence of the human intellect?

I wanted to refer this to some people in mental health and academia to really hit home. The changes that are happening. I was gonna do that and then you changed your thumbnail to a zombie and that doesn’t exactly lend itself to that… just saying, did you make this to appeal to the zombies or the people who can process it and do something with it? I really love your channel and your work.

The Epstein files made it even worse, no? What was once a conspiracy turned out to be true. If that kind of shit is possible, then what other conspiracies could also be true? Googling does not help with this.

It is by no means easy to carry out thorough research if one does not know how corrupt and greedy the people commissioned to conduct the studies are.

Groupthink is the synthesis of the matrix. One example that might not apply to your comment section as much – guarantee the majority reviews other comments and basis their comment thesis on what other people post.
You must be a contrarian to pull away from the matrix and view it as theatre. Group think is the dumbest version of the human condition.

Imagine thinking vaccines are more harmful than the things they're using the vaccines against. While I understand the 2020 thing being a new and vastly untested vaccine would cause some to wait or even opt out completely but polio, measles, tetanus, etc. is just setting your child or you up for a scary and irreversible event.

Please adjust the gain on your mic and compress your audio. The "s" in your speech is disruptive through earbuds. It becomes quite challenging to listen and engage through the peaks in audio from the pronunciation.

7:37 POWER FACT When i was in school, i remember there were always kids who had no problem cheating on tests, and took the risk of having the teacher ask them a question, and still gambled. So if i know mathamatics at all, the probability of that happening on a larger scale, is almost guaranteed. Thats going to be an issue.

Mediocrity. Apathy. Hyper vigilance, rinse, repeat. Hyper vigilance. Exhaustion. Fake relax. Sleep. Mediocrity, apathy Ect. If you design a society that encourages people to use a wireless device as a key to everything, and have little electronic accounts that they live out of, BEEP BEEP. Then you run the risk of teaching society that people arent to be trusted. Inadvertently anyways.

Funny that a video of critical thinking is full of dumb comment by conspirationnist that have 0 critical thinking. It's not your teachers fault if you're not smart it's your parent and your fault only. Thank you.

I don't think people are as dumb as we think, they know what's going on. When it comes to change, we are conflating dumb, with cowardice. Most people aren't dumb, they're cowards.

29:29 What does "standards of research" even mean? Like the therapeutic speak you mentioned at the beginning, "standards of research" is just a boiled down method to inhibit new ways of thinking, hence diminishing the capacity for critical thinking.
Critical thinking is the capacity of walking the not beaten path, "standards of research" IS the beaten path.
Of course, more often than not, research outside the standards are hard to follow, but they should also be considered as critical thinking and if you as a researcher decides to wear whatever shoes are present, you'll discover so many new ways of thinking. And learn that you don't need to agree with someone to be able to still live shoulder to shoulder. That's called respect.

You're ok with people accepting vaccinations without a second thought, your words.
I'm dubious of people who accept the notion of "anti -vaxxers", lumping in people who have done significant research into what happened in 2020 with people who have disregarded the science behind vaccinations as a whole.
It's irresponsible and quite telling that you make no distinction.
Making people who don't just accept science that is hoisted upon us without a second thought seem crazy is some real nasty work.
Scientism and it's disciples are as much of a risk to public health as people who reject science wholesale.
I would hope to find a more nuanced approach that genuinely tries to map out better ways of thinking about these things
