i genuinely think darkthrone TH is a completely trash album, with an amazing album cover and cool logo. Its annoying that album just never leaves the lime light. The rest of the albums are all good. That Windir Album took a bit to grow on me because i find folk fused metal almost unlistenable, but that album is a masterpiece and completely unique

Great list! I would choose another albums for some of them, but it's only personal taste. The only band I really missed is Forgotten Woods (neither in the comments! 🙁 ), but I really happy to see Windir and Sacramentum

Glad to see Rotting Christ on this list. I’m not a big fan of black metal, but I’ve loved RC since I first heard them over twenty years ago and A Dead Poem was the album I first listened to by them and it’s still my favorite black metal album. Thy Might Contract and Non Serviam are also solid albums by RC.

So stoked to see Sigh and Borknagar at Fire in the Mountains in a few weeks!
