The cons are that no one trusts an election where you have no idea where the votes are coming from. How they're vetted, and how they're counted. It also extends election day, into election month.

what are the cons of mail in voting? gee idk, how about the fact that the party you seem interested in has been caught multiple times burning votes, taking votes in their cars into canada to dispose of them, throwing them into dumpsters etc.. yea aside from all that no down sides. and who said that voting in public will get people sick? just put on joe bidens mask and you'll be fine. better yet, put on two, and make sure they're both different colors so everyone can see that you're "being safe" and wearing two masks xD.

Mail-in voting is convenient…..for non-US citizens to vote and allows those that "count" the votes to toss yours in the trash if it's not signed properly. Don't let our election be hacked again by the Russians, vote for voter IDs

But Charlie, it's unconstitutional. Not really sure how it is, but that is what the state supreme court said after the GOV tried to do exactly this. The court didn't explain the decision, didn't make any allowances for the pandemic, and ultimately reduced turn-out. Will anyone go back and tell them that was a bad decision. Nope because the only news their supporters trust will somehow spin it as good, say it was too late, and forget it ever happened. Jeesh criminy what a messed up situation we have where any idea if it is brought up by the other side is bad regardless of if it is the best thing to do or not.
