Since the claim admits that at least one fact exists, why can there be no other facts? This is the fundamental problem with the idea that no objective truth exists: the argument relies on an objective truth existing. It thus refutes itself.

I just had a convo with my wife, where I asked if one could really call me radical for being as leftist as I am. Because in my "utopian" world view, everyone who is WELL educated and has been allowed to live a life in dignity, WOULD always choose what is best for everyone due to compassion and empathy. Unless of course they have a deeply psychological, genetic deficiency like psychopathy. Injustic is what creates crimes, crimes make it necessary for there to be a system in place to penalize those that would harm others, and protect people that are just going about their day. Ideally that system alone is enough to discourage people from committing crime in the first place, but we KNOW that is not the case. BECAUSE if you get people desperate enough, they WILL turn to crime if it gives them a better chance as survival.
Now, in my "utopian" fantasy, I'd say no one (except a tiny, outlying percentage we could definitely deal with) would WANT to commit crime and harm others, especially if their own survival does not depend on it, cuz they live a fairly cushy life, like us privileged first world country dwellers T-T ugh, I can't cope.
So this leads me to believe, IMO of course, that no one should have the RIGHT to choose to harm others. Even tho I am a defender of democracy, I sound authoritarian when I say that. When a president runs a campaign on deporting and brutalizing other human beings, taking away the rights of LGBTQ people, literally PUSHING THEM closer to suicide, and someone VOTES for that president, that someone should not get a say in the first place. Matter of fact, such a president should be investigated and banned from even running. So I am taking away a choice that a bunch of sadistic fucks want to make for an entire country, impacting millions of lives. I think that's fine. Now I know a lot of maga heads are just under educated and clearly lack some form of intelligence and insight, and fake news isn't helping. But their own morals SHOULD guide them, especially as they claim to be deeply religious FUCKS. So no, I don't think that protects them from the responsibility. In my eyes they are all immoral criminals on some level, and would be willing to harm others for their own personal gain, and even more fucked up, even at their own detriment. WTF
