3:00 there's just no way that room is where they "hang" while having people over. That coffee table has a huge centerpiece that blocks the view sitting in those armchairs, you can't even have conversation with people in front of you

Four chairs facing a table featuring a centerpiece that would obstruct the view of the others at the table. The way that room is arranged is so odd. “We gather in this room to stare at audacious floral arrangements”.

I once met an interior designer/set designer in nyc who's dream it had been to style a home for AD. she finally got booked to prepare a celebs home for a video like this and said she would never do it again as it drained any kind of creativity or joy from her.. it was all just sponsored items, product placements, or rented things. she had to return everything after the shoot.

That isn't a Spanish rug. I used to work at a high end rug gallery that specialized in Persian rugs and that is a seriously beat up, antique Persian rug that is crying for help.

Speaking of dress to impress, I was driving down the street the other day and someone was walking away from me with a parasol and for a split second I thought I was staring at one of your amazing hat creations😂😂

Seriously Matteo If you haven't watched Phineas and Ferb you need to get your life together
Watch the cartoon show It's hilarious Don't try to act like you're too busy playing kid's video games or whatever lol

I was a military brat who moved a lot and then moved around as an adult as well so the concept of a house or location feeling "like home" isn't a thing I've ever really experienced.

Matteo treating Phineas & Ferb like it's a small side thing when it's one of the most famous animated shows ever and probably Ashley Tisdale's biggest source of income

I hate that you're entering the house and you're already walking into a side table and a couch blocking the hallway. Just blocking the flow of traffic and all those short steps feels like a nightmare.

We always hear this perspective of people who (I think) didn't move a lot as a child. Things like "How can you just move like that?" and movies that are like "mom and dad are selling our family home! Let's do some antics to stop it." I feel like the conversation is never had here because it's one of those things that people feel deep down is "just the right feeling" but from my perspective, I can't imagine treating a house like a person. And before anyone reading this tilts their head sideways and thinks "oh thats a little sad" or something, the point I'm trying to make is that (at least for me who moved a few times as a kid) from my perspective it seems "a little sad" to be hurt by not having a house in your life anymore (tragedies aside). (Also don't think I'm actually being judgey or whatnot, I just don't know another way to type out the sort of "culture shock" I feel when I hear people with this world view. Not attempting offense just frank with words)

As an aunt with three nieces and one nephew, and who also owns three cats: I would NEVER have white furniture. Even if you could wash the fabric. N.E.V.E.R. It's pretty to look at but ONE stain and I would lose my mind lol. Or even accidently wash it ONCE with something slightly darker and discolour it… But I like her house, and the decour is… Fine. I like most of the furniture, especially the dark forest green hues.

And I can't understand people who move houses so often. I despise moving with all my heart, and I really want to find my "forever" home, so seeing people with the money but not the intention to actually stay in the houses they buy and decorate hurts my heart a little lol. I wish I had money to buy my dream house and stay in it until I pass away of old age.
