Trump makes insane threat to Iranian negotiators and re-activates the US military, ending the talks

Congressman Ro Khanna keeps saying we can fix America by taxing one man — just tax Elon Musk and we can pay for childcare, education, student loans. Tom breaks down why that math falls apart the moment you add the word “year,” why unrealized gains aren’t money the government can spend, and who actually killed the American dream (hint: it wasn’t billionaires).
Plus: the Iran MOU that fell apart and got duct-taped back together, Keir Starmer’s resignation and the UK’s lurch further left, South America’s right-wing wave, Cuba’s president admitting communism doesn’t work, Xi Jinping criminalizing criticism of China, and why the government’s budget doubled in ten years with nothing to show for it.

It has been found a that a 1% decrease in state effective tax rate in the United States is correlated with an approximate 0.5% year decrease in that state's life expectancy. The bottom 10 right leaning states with the lowest effective tax rates are all run by republicans as compared to the top ten tax rate states (which are run by democratic legislatures).

The low tax rate, lower life span states, are rebublican and are supported by taxes inflows from the higher innovation, democratically run states, left leaning states.

Democratic-leaning states have stricter public health mandates, better-funded public services. Unlike Republicans, Democrats believe in investing in a nations greatest resource, its people. For example DOGE cut $15 million per year from U.S. foreign aid and biosecurity, and now must request 1 billion dollars just to mitigate one resulting screwworm outbreak in American beef production.

Tom, for reference, back and forth eye movement is calming because the eye and its muscles are innervated by cranial nerves, including the trigeminal nerve, which controls the trigeminocervical complex in the brain. This is a major control center for the brain and the autonomic nervous system. Sympathetic autonomic hyperactivity is detrimental to all aspects of mental and physical health. Moving the eyes back and forth, especially at low frequency, helps improve neuroplasticity and autonomic homeostasis. This is the basis of EMDR psychotherapy and Is something I use to my advantage with my patients. I’d love to explain this more in depth for you if interested. We don’t understand the specifics very well at all, however, we do understand enough general things to make significant changes to the ANS and health. Thanks for all you do Tom. PS: I would love to help you with your “health” “care” deep dive. I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy and own 2 businesses. And our “healthcare” system is abysmal.

So your post can violate X rules, but still be deemed important enough to leave it up?! Make that make sense. Might wanna re-examine the "rules" and enforce them equally and consistently.

Please Trump always threatens then TACOs. Like I said 2 months ago. This war will not be over until November. The Strait is remaining closed. Tom is the fool to believe Trump will be able to negotiate a deal.

Khanna has tapped into the blame billionaires club . It’s easy , shortsighted , unconstitutional, and really dumb. That’s their constituency. Swallowing bullshit from a millionaire dbag .

Israel did not sign any agreement concerning the MOU. Trump has no right to try and impose restrictions on Israel, concerning the war in Iran and their proxy Hezbollah.
Idiots are at the negotiating table. Irans playbook has not changed. Israel will continue to defend itself against the crazy radicalized Islamic jihadists in the Middle East who are bent on Israel's destruction. Iran signs agreement…. then orders Hezbollah to attack Israel. Why? So they can blame Israel for the break in their agreement with the USA. Iran does not want to let go of it's stated goal to wipe Israel off the map. What does Trump do?? He gets played like a two year old toy doll. This whole thing is sickening.

Please don't attribute any influence to Ben-Gvir. Bibi appointed him just to troll. He represents less than 4 percent of the population, and even that was a protest vote due to Bibi's lack of governance in the borderline communities.

Tom, you still don’t understand that the only thing these people understand is violence, the Iranians. That threat Trump gave to them is in line with their culture. I spent almost a decade living between 3 different Muslim nations. Tom, it’s hard to accept, but they aren’t us. They don’t understand dialogue. They understand force, coercion and violence. One day you Americans will finally wake up to this fact.

One thing I don't understand is if the talks center around the nuclear enrichment why doesn't the usa have nuclear scientists and experts there with negotiations instead of having to call home all the time. Because I don't think vance, kushner etc are very knowledgeable on the subject.

1:26:34 is a big difference between being book smart and being experience smart period for me I would not hire a person that has a degree I would hire a person that has experienced. Because if you hire the one that comes from a college with a degree they think they know it all when they don't know the business entirely and you would get more pushback from them because they think that they are a know-it-all

1:08:44 If Tom wants to learn more about NGO’s, consider talking to Dr EJ Brearley. She’s a former economist at the World Bank and author of the book “Aid Inferno: How to Reduce Poverty, Combat Global Warming and be a Good Person. I first heard of her when she interviewed on Andrew Gold’s podcast.

Trump just wants to get out. The bombing did nothing. They have underground military cities. nuclear bomb proof. All we have done with our behavior is to cause other countries to obtain nuclear weapons. In 5 years we will have probably several more nuclear powers. That includes canada and brazil

Israel was invading Lebanon, inside Lebanon, massacring civilians when Hezbollah, created to defend against Israeli acts of aggression, struck back. How many Israeli civilians have been killed by Hezbollah inside of Israel this year? Hope that helps.
