Faith No More Just Said Something Nobody Expected

Rock Feed | June 22, 2026

After more than a decade away, Faith No More are officially coming back. On June 16, 2026, the band dropped a cryptic teaser online — their signature eight-pointed star logo stamped over a concert crowd with one number: “2027.” Within 24 hours, bassist Billy Gould confirmed it on the Rock Talk podcast: “Yeah, we’re gonna do it. We’re gonna play… I think we can do it for a few more years, and we can do it the right way, so we’re gonna give it a go.”

He’s my favorite singer but I like maybe four of his songs. His taste is so strange. I know it sounds obnoxious but If I had his voice in the 90’s I would’ve been the biggest star on the planet.

I bet Jim is not coming back. That guy really made some bad decisions in life. His solo album would've been good if he let someone properly mix and master it. I bet one of those AI mastering sites/apps like LANDR could improve it for a re-release on Bandcamp. The problem with that is hardly anyone heard about it in the first place…and he even got James Hetfield to sing vocals on the first track. That's how you know he made some bad decisions in his life. Saying homophobic crap about his FNM bandmates is the tip of the iceberg.

Mike went to high-school with my uncle and they were friends, when I'd go to my grandparents house they would be hanging out. Years later "Epic" came out on MTV & our fam freaked out- good times.

Obviously Mike Patton is touring with FNM, dont be stupid. He had a hard time and toured with his smaller band smaller venues, with Mr Bungle. not a World Tour. then he did some Tomahawk shit and some AVVT-Patton few shows. Now the guys ready to tour with FNM. does that make sense
