Hi Morgan I found your channel about a year ago and I was wondering if you could tell me where I can find highland beef for sale. Thanks for what you’re doing.

The bobolinks reminded me of living on the farm in Michigan. Every summer we could hear their very distinctive and charming call. It's a bubbly song. They're worth saving, and thank you.

Well who knows really? We know elephants are very aware of the cemetery sites of their dead ancestors' bones. Maybe cows have a little awareness also.

Great video, Morgan! Even after watching you for years, I still learn about farm life.
Love to see the bike is back!
Your herd of cows are so mellow and sweet. 💗
Tom Petty!! Great name.
Regarding the trees, I know it’s more expensive but maybe you could plant more mature trees to hasten their maturity. Just a thought.

Did you stop chasing the cow pies with the mobile chicken coop? Seems like it was working to keep the flies down.

It's endlessly amazing to be living in a place that people from all over the world love to visit!

We have some wild Ducks nesting in the field across the street. I saw 2 mother ducks with 10 to 12 ducklings each. Cars will often speed down the street regardless of many signs warning of children and Duck crossings despite the 40 mph speed limit. 3 days ago I saw a mother duck and a few babies dead on the side of the street. They had been hit by a car. Yesterday I saw a mother duck with 20 babies! I think she adopted the babies of the mom who was killed. I was so happy that she would do this!

15:56 Shade from the tree…
I love how you provide shade. Here in The Netherlands I see some farmers doing that. But only a few. Farmers should be more one with their animals. And make them happy animals. A happy cow makes a healthy cow, is what one farmer told me once. So, I bet your cows are healthy!
Also, it's good to keep talking when you are around your animals. It builds up trust. Good job, Jordan!

I think Abby senses the mischief behavior of the young heifers so she tries to guard you from it. Like she's saying, "Ladies, please, settle down! You'll get the brush if you're good girls like me." lol

I just love the way you care so much about wildlife habitat. You are genuinely an amazing person and I really enjoy every video but especially the Highlands! I'm amazed at how you're keeping all of them straight(identity).

Hey, suggestion here, on the those scenes where your cow knocked the camera down, may I suggest that if you could find time and draw little comics of the video we could have gotten if the camera was still up.

Wait, are you telling me you have a boxelder tree (A. negundo) and there isn't nine billion boxelder seedlings on every mote of dust/clump of lint/stray roofing shingle on your property?
Because ours seed everywhere and grow an inch a minute. Well, because they're invasive here.

You wearing the bike helmet while walking through the pasture gives the vibe that you're a mentally ill farmer or something. 😅😅

June 22, 2026 at 1:32 am
Hi Morgan. Out of pure curiosity, do you plan to stick only to pure highland bulls, or would you ever consider bringing in a cross-bred bull? I don't think there's a 'right' answer here, I'm just asking because I suddenly found myself curious.

It feels as if we have these wonderful moments of your running commentary, with accompanying music and insights that keep us updated on the geese and other animals. You sweep the camera across all this "fantastic colour", bringing the peace of the vistas into view. Thank you for sharing this with us. I used to walk my grandfather's farm with my dad, and now I am back there in my heart and mind. Sweet Peace

I'm actually quite happy that you're willing to sell heifers- it seemed like it was a mental block for you, but I see it as really healthy. You'll be able to work with more bloodlines as well and figure out exactly who you want more of

June 22, 2026 at 1:32 am
I’m wondering if the cattle don’t want to smell like Abby because the brush would be smelling of her. They might not want to smell of each other either. Sell your cows if it’s the best thing for you to do for you. You are right as you can’t keep them all. Thank you. 🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🤩🤩🤩
