Mars, Terraformed (100 Years)

Venture City | June 16, 2026

There will come a time when there is no need to return to Earth, when Mars has been terraformed into a green planet. When plants and trees grow, when water fills the carved prehistoric river channels and dried lake beds.
What then?

With orbiting electromagnetic stations, sustained eruptions, and genetically engineered bacteria, Mars is transformed, terraformed, into a place to call home.

Once the sun expands enough to put mars in the habital zone, then major changes will accour naturally. Unfortunately earth will be a Burt piece of toast by then, human's need to colonize Mars to survive if we still are around that is.

Okay, great. There’s water and breathable air. What are you going to do about the lack of a Van Allen belt? What’s society going to do when all the hospitals fill up with tumor-filled people who are all vomiting green semifluids, and all of the doctors are in the same state?

If we have a bio dome that's producing foods from the martian teraform landscape it wouldn't be bad.? Autonomous vehicles and craft that use hydro fuel instead of gasoline will build a
Lasting colony… 5 year rotation should be a thing

Consider. Human history continues to repeat itself. Humans never lear (sorry couldn't resist 😄).

The first Earth colonists after a successful terraform will consist of the most educated, best physical men and women in the bloom of youth.

In succeeding generations they will bring forth a civilization not seen on Earth that will transform Mars into as close a living paradise as ever witnessed by humankind.

Then Earthlings at the United World Nations will say, "WTH! We Earthlings gave those greedy, ungrateful colonists everything to succeed.

About time they started returning financial considerations for rhe earthly sacrifices of the past.

Now we're in receipt of a transmission from their newly formed government stating they're not and haven't been colonists for hundreds of years and demand we address them as Martians. Martians!

Further, the arrogant Colonists say that they don't owe us JACK-💩 and to go kick rocks!

The nerve. I say we send a battalion of Earthen Marines to let them know whom's the dog and whom's the tail here.

Thus begins the Martian War of Independence! 😵‍💫

Nice idea but it will never happen. Not on Mars, at least. On a living planet that needs a tweak or two, perhaps. But the technology needed to travel there, let alone terraform it, is hundreds — and likely thousands — of years away from that capability, if it's even possible at all.

Stop the 3 fucking best scientist in the planet said it will never happen, hell there's a nasa mars drone missing right now people are never going there

Nice video! Well done! Just one little bigt of detail. Mars isn't sleeping, it's dead. So a volcano can not simply be "awoken" as there is no molten rock below it anymore. I think mars science is still researching to know exactly how alive or dead the planet still is. There was news not too long ago about seismic activity so i'd guess the planet isn't entirely dead. Still, from there to volcanic eruptions is a long stretch. More research is needed for sure 🙂 But hey, i hope the video becomes a reality!

I think the only way to change the gravity of Mars would be making the mask of the entire planet a lot larger than the same size of Earth. Another thing, I think that colonizing Saturn's moon Titan would be much better overall.

The physics doesn't support this. Mars still lacking a magnetic field that will protect it from the solar winds. As far as Reawakening volcanoes the best of our knowledge there is no active molten magma or core. Science fiction is great mother Nature is a bitch
