This gonna be like 2 ants 1 president (the 3 animated episode new grounds short series and the second animation is about robots taking over the workforce and the only human workers being the ones maintaining them)

Fun fact their website pooped itself and isn't loading videos…. 😂

"& Other Stuff" comes from Nostr. Which is backed by Jack. And just as much of an AI, spam filled, sloppy shitshow full of Bitcoiners circle jerking each other.

I wish myspace would come back so I could experience it as an emo/scene kid. Spacehey exists but it’s currently blocked in my country so it’s harder to get to

hey, I’m really loving your channel. I just wanted to pop in and show some support after watching a couple of your videos last week and having your problem with grok pushed to me today. I am an elder millennial who did not grow up with anything kind of approximating what we currently know of to be social media until college so Facebook in my space started like my first year of college and all we had was like live journal and of course, for the Goth kids dead journal. I work in the adult industry as a dominatrix in addition to being a chronically online video artist who is constantly struggling with reach suppression and content censorship of art, and even my fully clothed body. If you ever wanna talk to somebody for one of your videos who lived in the era of pre-social media and was raised by Webb 1.0, who ran the gauntlet, got groomed on IRC chat and then use net groups, who’s blood is thick with the memory of zero day warez and alt.binaries about how the world has changed and how the Internet, despite always being a cesspool Pool has gotten worse, I am your girl Friday, especially because I’ve been in the adult industry or adult alternative lifestyles since I hit 18 and I've never logged out.

ah jack… this is the same guy who heavily promote NFT & crypto type of shit in 2021. he even put it as a feature in twitter (before fascist sympathizer Elon took charge)

Vine got me through an extended mental breakdown in my mid twenties. I welcome its return. Even if it turns out to be exactly the same as TikTok and nothing like the original Vine, I’d rather be posting to Vine than TikTok.

So, Does Jack not realise that if they had abolished the IP Law decades ago big companies such as his or Musks may have never become big companies to begin with….? 😮

What's ironic is that Vine videos are 6 seconds long while many AI videos are also 6 seconds long, so it's harder to detect AI videos since there are no awkward transitions between AI clips pasted together.

i can't be the only one who really hates that pizza dude on tiktok, like that dude has made his entire life about doing nothing but spamming himself into comment sections of big tiktoks. literally just the most self-centered lame thing you could do and he always just steals the biggest comment too like he just does nothing and then makes the video about himself just saying "bro i'm literally a pizza" like it was never funny dude is just annoying

While I miss vine, I knew it was fine to keep it where it was. In the past.

After everything we experience now? I don’t think Vine should resurface or come back anytime soon. I knew I was right to have some doubts on him, while I know they wanted to be optimistic about it. I don’t think it would be great for them to see their memorable vines just be forgotten and replaced by brain rotting vids, no talent, no fun, just either AI vids taking over or just others trying to copy others, with only originally content be rare by the dozen.

People are honestly overly scared of AI. They don't understand how machine learning works and it can be bad, but to do horrible things like deep fakes a user has to do that. They could do it in Photoshop, but Qwens model is easier. To boycott it, you'd have to not be on the Internet essentially. Any comment you make, picture, post, check in, can be used. Shit even iPhone (iOS 18) has it enabled to learn by default. You have to opt out and turn it off.

Great points, Did you see the Netflix movie about Spotify? "The Playlist", without giving away the gist, the IP thing, by AI is about getting movie industry data. The Spotify thing, is the otherside of IP, there was a site, you may remember it, the pirate bay? In the early internet, everyone was sharing, it wasn't new, 80s metal merchants were sharing copied tapes. Thats how shed bands were heard, video tapes were copied, so movies could be watched whenever rather than renting, the pirate bay was built on this copy and share culture, Spotify made a deal with the big music industry companies….
Do you think small musicians benefit from IP? Or the DeviantArt artists who were ripped off training AI?

Small creators, aren't protected by IP, Big companies are, and they exploit artists, same as studios, who are moving to AI.

IP is not a fight worth fighting, unless your content is protected

Fighting AI, will only put it on a more expensive shelf,
As it is, Enshitification baits you, uber Netflix whatever, take your pick, it's cheaper than the competition. When the competition is destroyed, suddenly there's a premium service, uber black, or ads on Netflix, the whole reason you signed to Netflix was no ads. Now, you have to pay premium.

Jack is giving you nostalgia and no ai

It's what you ask for, he's a businessman capitalist what have you

    By fighting ai
Hollywood buys, suno udio stable diffusion,
And your "free run" of AI is more expensive
    You already weren't using it
    You were already harvested

The only IP protected was Hollywood Sony and OpenAI

Don't fight for IP unless it benefits you

    Or

    Argue for open source
    People can use your stuff
    But
    You can use theirs

Either way, you should be supporting a Basic income
    And Universal basic services

Because America already doesn't have adequate healthcare and insurance not delivering

Personal IP should absolutely be protected

    If someone uses your ideas
    You deserve a cut

But at the moment, supporting IP isn't protecting DeviantArt artists, or compensation for your social media that's been harvested

It's doing the work of Sony Hollywood MCA
    Worse
You are doing the work of their legal teams, who are making more in an hour you'll earn in a year in a reasonable job.

    Love your content

7:26 Okay i am going to be fair to vine and tell you that all they wrote was these clear and careful words: No more AI VIDEOS. it doesnt mean they against AI they never said that form what ive seen in your video showing us (up to this point of course) So just saying they wont have any more AI Videos. doesnt mean they dont use or support AI. they just dont like AI Slop of Videos people saying Oh vine hates ai and will never use it is a misunderstanding on their part. they didnt write no more ai. they wrote no more ai videos. Also i did some research not to long ago about how much ai uses water and stuff and while it is quite abit. Corn uses way more Yes corn with a c not a P. Corn uses way more water than ai does just in the USA alone. ai in a year would use about 82.5 billion to 201.9 billion US gallons annually do you know how much water corn uses in the USA? 50 to 67 trillion gallons. i did not limit the ai useage of water to just the usa.

Total Withdrawals: The U.S. electric power sector withdraws approximately 47 to 58 trillion gallons of water annually. Nuclear power plants account for a significant portion of this, as they are the most water-intensive thermal power source per megawatt-hour.

Total Consumption: Most of the water withdrawn for cooling is returned to its source. The total freshwater consumption (water lost to evaporation) for all U.S. nuclear plants is estimated at roughly 320 to 400 billion gallons per year.

AI does use abit of water. But not on the level everyone is thinking Now i am no expert so i could be alittle wrong about this information but ai does not use such alot of water compared to what the usa and other places uses. Yes it is a decent amount of water

edit: The only bad thing ai really does is use alot of ram (such as accusing prices to increase for Ram and Memory and places no longer selling Ram to people and just selling them to ai companies) apart from that? i dont see too many downsides to AI

Now people do use AI to replace people which yes that is very possible and very likely to happen. and it is likely AI is going to be used for evil. But thats the thing anything made ever can, will, and has been used for evil.

i am trying to be on no one side. i am simply saying what is truthful and correct based on what ive seen and heard of about AI and things around Ai

You could say my view is more tinted since i do use AI for many things However i am trying to see points people make and trying to come to reason. This is the thing AI can be used for Good. it can help people out. i am trying to look at it from all sides rather than just my own. i am not fighting for ai or for humanity on the agurement ai equals bad and ai equals good. since its alot more complex than people say it is. AI can be used for both Good and bad. this isnt the first thing humans made that can be used for good or bad almost anything human made can be used for good or bad, and anything God made that is made to be good. we as humans turn it into evil but we can still use it for good how God intended, Examples: God made humans to be good however most of us are evil and all of us are sinners (which is also evil) God has also made everything that we use and within thousands of years what we did with the stuff God gave us? We turnt into weapsons of mass Destruction , drugs, and many things that are not good. it does not mean evil things we created cant be used for good.

First of AI isnt bad. It's a good tool and the future. Every person who denies that and fights against this is like the people who cried about the internet. Accept change!

2nd of the current issue with AI is that there are 0 laws against it. It's the wild west. That's as always the issue. As we know the US is too stupid to regulate anything so it's tough luck for you guys.

The EU as always will have to make the first step, whenever that will happen.

As for the IP law, I'm obviously not a lawyer and know nothing about it so people could correct me.. but like.. couldnt companies go into other countries like Canada, Germany, etc? And if a american company breaks that IP law from that country, couldnt they just sue them from there, like the EU?

If so then that seems like a good thing to me. It means that start ups leave the US giving the "new free world" more power and innovation.

I mean it’s pretty obvious why most of theses modern vine people are going to be people from TikTok or modern YouTube and just probably do actual harm instead of actually doing something fun for views and attention

the thing with divine is that we're in an era where creativity is dead. tiktok and youtube shorts encourage just re-using audios with your own face slapped on or just reading reddit stories or stealing content all together.and the internet as a whole is plagued with AI. even if DiVINE WAS fully against ai. it doesnt change that people stopped being original and creative which means DiVINE is at a disadvantage culturally. but so far I think from just the service itself? the groundwork is there for it to go well with enough pioneers. it has a full vine archive, and it doesnt change anything about the functionality so I'm remaining… cautiously optimistic for its future even if I shoudlnt be
