The brown water coming out of your faucets isn't directly from the data centers. Its from them drilling all them wells desturbing the sediment and debris falling into the aquifers.

I’m seeing a lot of people wanting to “unify” now. For years, I asked people from other communities to speak up for justice when Black communities were being treated as if justice meant “just us.” Many of those concerns were dismissed, downplayed, or mocked.
But I said then what I still believe now: greed has no full line. When one group can no longer be extracted from enough, the system looks for another group to target. Class exploitation is not loyal to color. Working-class and middle-class Americans of every background are disposable to those who put profit above people.
So now that the pressure is reaching more communities, maybe people will finally understand: unchecked greed does not stop because you thought you were safe. It keeps taking until people stand together against it.
A word from the experienced group: hard times are ahead. This ain't for the weak.😕

Our commissioners just sped up the process and waived the 6 months to collect info for data centers.

I feel like it's ironic that a certain group of people are realizing these freedoms don't really exist. When thruways and trains etc where built through black and brown communities for decades. We realized what they are finally realizing along time ago. I feel sorry for them but this isnt anything new.

Strange that these data centers are built in suburbs instead of industrial parks. Also, why is the infrastructure added to the electric bills of local customers and not charged to the data center companies?
