It's 1999, the pizza has just arrived, mom and older brother also stopped by Blockbuster before coming home. It's a rainy day in, the radio is playing Stone Temple Pilots while mom puts groceries up in the kitchen as me and my brothers devour some delicious take out pizza, chugging Surge while Legends of the Hidden Temple plays on TV and we check out the N64 and PS1 games we rented for the week, no waiting 45 minutes for that browser game on Shockwave to load on dial up tonight! Pokemon and Magic TG cards are scattered on the floor with a neon colored skateboard sitting nearby. Pizza is finished, we pop Super Mario 64 into the Nintendo and agree that next we'll try out Turok, and then some Oddworld on the PS1. We play til it's well past bedtime, and fall asleep on the couch eating pop tarts and watching Steve Irwin tell animals "You're alright mate! You're alright!" as he catches them. Tomorrow we're gonna head to the arcade and spend any quarters we'd scrounged up. Times were good. L i f e was good 😌

6:23 – I feel sorry for that action figure who got used for 32 seconds before losing his legs.
8:20 – Not too be confused with the other E.A. Kids, which was Electronic Arts' line of games aimed at children. One of the game from that line was Sesame Street: Counting Cafe for the Sega Genesis.
14:36 – PeanutButterGamer would love this commercial.
15:37 – Red Lobster is sadly a dying breed today. The company underestimated the appetites of some people during their all-you-can-eat shrimp buffets. They should have seen that Simpsons episode where Homer sued the Frying Dutchman for kicking him out before he had all he could eat.
23:36 – R.I.P. Larry King (Nov. 19, 1933 – Jan. 23, 2021).
40:50 – Must… resist… urge to make cartoonlover98 joke!
41:30 – This isn't Doug Walker's #1 commercial, but it's definitely his #2.
