The True Scale of the Largest Objects in the Universe
⚡ Try Gamma Imagine: https://gam.link/whatif
Today, we’re going bigger and badder to reveal the absolute largest objects we can find in the entire observable Universe. And let me clarify something. We’re talking physical size, not mass. We often talk about planets or stars as large and massive. When I say large, I mean the diameter of an object, top to bottom. And when I say massive, I mean the mass, which is the amount of matter stuffed into an object.
You can have an incredible mass but be physically tiny, like a dense black hole or a neutron star. Those are not going to make it on our list, because today, we’re talking size. And things are going to get huge.

This whole universe is such a mystery.
We live. There's Earth and Sun.
We have our history, civilizations and place in the universe.
We see downfalls and wars. We see uprising and love. Sadness and happiness. One day it all will be gone as the star dies. Wiped out from existence to forever be forgotten.
There have been multiple worlds like earth I'm sure. All with their own history and skirmishes… That have fallen and rised.
They all had the same fate.
In this infinite universe.

Great size comparison. I love such thought plays.
But with TON 618 there was a little astronomical error.
It was ten billion light years away from us when it sent out the light we see today but due to the expansion of spacetime it's now more than 18 billion light years away from us.
The rest of the facts about this hyper-massive black hole are perfectly right.
Bonus fact:
The diameter of the hyper-giant galaxy IC 1101 is almost twice the current distance between our Milky Way Galaxy and the Andromeda Galaxy.

…what if our universe is nothing more than a hypergiant black hole, and the Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall is a portion of light attempting to, and failing to escape the event horizon but viewed from the inside?

Technically, as massive as black holes are, they are smaller than a grain of sand. In fact, a grain of sand would probably fit every black hole in 100 galaxies inside it.
As "massive as a black hole is with the excellent description on this video, it's almost certain that a black hole is the size of a hydrogen atom. With an insane mass that can only be held due to it literally tearing a hole in the fabric of space-time.

If betelgeuse went supernova tomorrow, humanity wouldn't see it for 650 years. Fact is, it may have already done so hundreds of years in the past, and we'll still have to wait several hundred more to see it. Blows your mind. 🤯

HOW ARE THEY ABLE TO KNOW HOW FAR AWAY IT IS AND HOW CAN THEY TELL HOW BIG IT IS.
@richrigney4610
June 6, 2026 at 3:31 pm
So funny how you claim all of this is "fact' when most of it is merely theory and speculation based on light seen through a telescope and guestimates made about that light. Astrophysicists like to put that information out like it's "fact" until another "fact" comes along which completely disproves it. Just admit that we honestly can only theorize at best about what we are seeing out in space.

We need to redefine an astronomical scale for measurement across the universe because 'light years' still is no match for it

If betelgeuse was to explode today we would be able to see it in 640 years so remember that if you were to see a supernova where betelgeuse was that means it exploded 640 years ago.
