The little young, naive kid cohost is delusional. His Nick Shirley point MADE NO LOGICAL SENSE, but additionally he was just plain wrong about the facts. He said that the Quality "Learing" Center turned out to be a real daycare – – uh, hey little boy, where are you getting your info from? Here are the facts as they stand today – December 26, 2025: Nick Shirley's video on Quality Learning Center goes viral, January 6, 2026: The center voluntarily shuts down shortly after the video. April 28, 2026: FBI raids the now-closed location as part of a larger fraud investigation. CURRENTLY: Investigation STILL ONGOING. There has not been a public disclosure of the findings yet. Oh, and in 2015, Fozia Sheik Ali, believed to be the mother of the current owner Ibrahim Ali, was CONVICTED of child care fraud at the EXACT SAME ADDRESS. She went to prison for it. Same building, similar alleged scheme, same family. So where the heck is Eric getting his facts from? Could it be – – – CNN? Cuz it is actually "factually" TRUE, that noone has been convicted of fraud in that investigation, but that's ALL they would tell you on CNN and many other media outlets like it – and naive little boys like Eric would think he now learned something true.

On the brain-computer interface: Tom's naivete is striking, especially coming after the Bricks and Minifigs story. It's tragic that Tom wants these remote control interfaces because he thinks it would make him more competitive. What about the competitive goals of the company controlling the brain chips?
The Bricks and Minifigs story is a clear example of a corporation abusing process in order to steal from a customer. Likewise, if you have a company that can control your brain, and you have something they want, what is stopping them from taking it? They could steal your business plans or at least manipulate you to divulge them. Literally anything that could benefit them would be open for them to steal. How would Tom or anyone else be able to innovate for their own benefit? Saying he'd wait to see that it was certified "safe" instantly reminded me of the covid shots, too.

Tom misses one big thing about manufacturing. The companies Lobbied and CHOSE to leave. These companies aren't "American." They are global. Trump cut corporate taxes from 38% to 21% in 2017 and NOT ONE has brought manufacturing back. These companies don't care about American workers and you could cut those taxes to ZERO and they wouldn't move it back to America.

Anthropic just wants to create the scary narrative to make sure that everyone thinks they're leaders and on top of the game. As long as they're in the news, people will revere them, so they stay in the news. It's all about the IPO. Same methodology with SpaceX and his colonizing Mars craziness. I don't care what anyone says… it's not feasible. Read up on Mars and what it will take. But people are eating it up.

Tom, your boy is buggin' (Ryan), the AP is definitely written by and for the left. NPR is among the most blatantly subjective sources of "news" in America. To think either of those are anywhere near center/objective outlets only demonstrates the power of confirmation bias. Your program is well-done, always informative. I always watch or listen, never comment. But son just killed me with that, straight- faced, Kool-aid drinking oblivion.

I'm over 50 and have had Crohn's disease since I was 17 years old. The fact that a 20 something would elect to kill themselves over that now VERY TREATABLE disease makes me so sad. That kid allowed his doctor to throw his life away. Suicidal empathy. Literally.

AI is a snake eating its own tail. Short or long term it is unlikely to ever work as promised.
Once the AI companies have to actually start paying its own way and we go through a huge maintenance costs and energy costs, they will have to charge way too much for the flawed semi functional product.
Remember Y2K?
The bubble is coming. It is going to collapse whole economies.
The best case scenario is charging people to eliminate the jobs of the people who use it while those people train the AI to replace everyone else.
Then who is buying anyhting?
AI is long term scam.
Lots of wealth transfer.
Big costs for some funny meme videos and political ads and cheat codes for school work which is only undermining the future of education and production. College degrees just became worthless. People are killing their own value at both ends.
Glad I retire soon.
Use the AI if you want, but don't give it your money, let the scammers eat the debt.

Classic move: Anthropic sprints to the front of the AI race, gulps down the rocket fuel of cutting-edge models, then suddenly hits the brakes and screams 'This tech is DANGEROUS, folks! Quick, somebody regulate the hell out of it before the little guys catch up!'
Nothing says 'safety first' like trillion-dollar pioneers pushing for rules that conveniently lock in their lead while cosplaying as the responsible adults in the room. It's regulatory capture with a side of fear-mongering — the fox not only built the henhouse, it’s now demanding UN inspectors and a moat full of compliance paperwork.
Tom nailed it. History books are littered with 'visionaries' who discovered existential threats right when their moat started looking shallow. Keep exposing this theater! 😂

Ok. Are there indicators of fraud.
Is identifying fraud not first identifying indicators and risk of fraud?
Was anyone talking about those factors before Shirley?
That's not valuable? With that many indicators of fraud you don't think it's likely he identified places where there is fraud?
