What in the world did i just spend the past 1.5 hours watching?! This whole family, especially the parents need a reality check. Their son killed their daughter and planned on killing them and they coddling him like a baby 🤦‍♀

I have four adult children. All my life I've said I would cut them off if ever they did something like this. Even more so being he did this to his own sister and kept mentioning constantly including his parents!

I just can't stand women, mothers not holding their sons, husabnds accountable. As much as I understand unconditional parent love, there is limit to everything. If my son(thank god I don't have any) killed his sibling, I'd turn my back on him for sure.

How he can smile or smirk while talking about his sisters murder?
When the mother talks about her daughter there is no emotion.
Something is not right with this family. It seems to me the father is slowly dying from holding the truth in to keep what remains of this family together no matter how ill or dysfunctional. He knows.

These parents and the aunt are oblivious. He’s been committing crimes since 12 years old and these adults in his life never considered that his behavior would escalate?
Edit: Where are Jennifer’s friends talking about her and how much they miss her. These parents don’t even seem to care. I bet they wouldn’t have been so supportive if the roles were reversed and Jennifer had killed their son.

Okay….im 11 minutes in, so I might be commenting on something already answered…..Why in the blue blazes did he hop on a dang horse instead of running to a house nearby and call 911?
What did he need to think about before checking on his parents?
EDIT: oh my god! I don’t blame the parents for their denial, it must help in some way…..but Mason? Sheesh! He couldn’t care less about them….until they’re the only ones supporting him…..I’ve learned that if my son does this, he does not deserve our support.

1:49 Wow! Can’t even imagine just by reading a few comments of these parents choosing their son which seems like over their daughter. I’m a mother of 3 grown daughters, I can’t even begin to imagine 😢😢

I knew this was Canada just based on getting to have ur family come visit you inside a house and bbq and prison property🙄 Lefties are so weak on crime it’s sickening.

So sad that Jennifer’s pain and suffering at the hands of her brother were not really factors in any decisions made by her parents. They knew from the second it happened that he murdered her. Mom is in complete denial. Dad has turned his guilt and shame inwards and it has destroyed him physically and mentally. I’m sorry Jennifer; you deserved much better.

9:05 – Neither parent was crying. They seemed distraught while talking to 911 but they were just like, “Yeah, there’s no movement. She’s gone.” If I had just found my 18 yr old daughter dead and bloody… I would be catatonic!!
And it wasn’t just one of them acting like that… it was BOTH of them 🤔
Mason was crying during his interrogation bc he was CAUGHT… NOT bc he was sorry.
    His parents are losers.
The mother especially but most definitely both.
The mother is an ice box 🥶
The father is weak and always has been. He’s dominated by the wife.
The mother said, “You have 2 children. One is dead and the other is accused and found guilty of killing her. What do I do as a mother who raised both?”
    Really 🧐??
YOU HONOR your murdered daughter’s memory fool 😡 and you disown your son for good!!
    THAT’S what you do.
Especially after learning the actual facts of the matter.
Buh-bye Mason. In my opinion, YOU died to me the day you murdered your younger sister.”
    Sorry not sorry.
    You were found guilty,
now you get what you deserve. And that’s NOT bbq’s w mom abd dad in prison 😖🙄
    It’s a punishment, not a reward.
You sit and rot in there and hope your actions were worth it to you.
Perhaps God will forgive you when you die … IN PRISON.
    Perhaps not.
I’m not in charge of that aspect.
But here on earth, you should suffer. Suffer in the sense that you get zero perks while incarcerated. So essentially, as long as you breathe.
Why should you receive things that make you happy and bring you joy??
If you become depressed or unhappy in prison bc you receive no perks… good.
    Feel it.
    Live in it.
    Understand it.
    Beg for forgiveness before death.
That’s my only advice to you.

I know this happened a long time but its my first time seeing it. My question is: how is it an accident when the injuries to his sister were so precise? It seemed intentional….to the head and chest….accident?
This prison doesn't seem like a place of punishment…more like a second home.
Why did he seem so nonchalant talking about murdering his sister.
Why are there no apologies to his parents?
Why does he look unphased by the murder.
    Why only 25 years.
His dad died of a broken heart and disappointment.
Very sad. It appears the only ally Jennifer seem to have was her aunt (dads sister) who isnt excusing what her nephew did.
Sad situation. His lies keep changing. He is dishonest and dangerous. Even the will; the dad saw the deceipt right away. He didnt write the will…not what dad would say. He was going to off his family so he could have everything because he had no ambition. Deep down i think the dad was very angry at his son but it appears he maintained his calm and denial because of his wife. She was acting like everything is normal. He realized he and his wife were going to be his victims. I think it pained the dad to be in the same room with him.
Its painful to see him talk on the phone and remind his dad about Jennifer…Jennifer day. Its like he is inflicting pain on his parents.
I think the parents are denying their true feelings about their son and what he did. Dad was truly broken. The son said dad seemed "tired" when he was talking to him about Jennifer on the phone. I think deep down the dad was very angry at his son.😢

Kind of creepy that they still live in the house where their daughter was murdered in down the stairs. They may not have seen violence themselves with him but he probably was. Shoots his sister three times once in the head twice in the chest and then runs off. Spoiled, narcissistic, creepy. I think he was jealous of his sister and wanted to be just him and his parents cuz it's weird that he sits there and smiles and does all that when he murdered his sister. There's no way I would let my son in my house if he killed his sister I would cut ties. Can you imagine Jennifer in heaven looking down wondering what her parents are thinking knowing her brother took her life. I think he thought he was going to get away with it. The mother and father and him are so nonchalantly chill. He's not sorry he killed his sister he's just sorry he hurt his parents. He already said he waited and watched to make sure his parents were okay but you don't say nothing about your sister you murdered make that make sense. He is even capable of murdering his parents for gosh sakes he murdered her sister that's family. I would never be comfortable around someone like that whether it's my child or not. Even when if he goes to the house where he murdered his sister you allow him to even go there???? When people die their Spirit lives. I'm wondering if she even ask or did his father even ask why because if he says he doesn't he's lying there's always a reason that someone murders somebody ok probably too ashamed to admit it or lie about it they'll probably believe him because they are very vulnerable. If that was my son I would literally take jabs at him if he was at my house where he killed his sister and would say well if your sister was here everything would be great.

He sure is living quite comfortably at that prison!! Never seen a prison with plants 🪴 all around! Full bedding on a comfortable looking mattress, bathrobe, take his pick of the multiple baseball caps, gets to go hang out with the family at a fully equipped house, in street clothes…like it’s just another day!! 🤔😵‍💫🤯
1:00:00’ish on the day of my sister’s death…you mean murder!!

Nobody can say how they would feel or act if one of their children killed their other child. I believe just like a child going through abuse, you go places in your mind that allow you to cope at that moment and if they live long enough they will eventually come to the conclusion this wasn’t an accident. For 1 thing they haven’t asked where did the gun come from.

Both parents are such LIARS. Neither reacted with any shock or denial, not a single statement of no when the cop said they thought their son killed his sister. They both thought it too but wouldn't admit it. Piss weak excuse for humans let alone parents. Poor Jennifer, the only human and the only person with a true heart and emotions in that so called family. Those three deserve each other and all the bad karma available, they earned it.
