I would have loved to see Andrew Tate on your show

Again. I love the show and I don’t cheer for a team. But the level of booing is different between the two.

Tim I’ve criticized you plenty for white washing Trump before things went to 💩. As I seen coming. Trump is clearly a self interested trader. But I don’t consider you one and that comment was out of line. I tend to agree with your mindset and process. But I do see your shortcomings in logic . A fast cpu is more susceptible to malware. 🫡

Not sure how you can live with that annoying women. Starting with her voice , her views and her reading this comment that you are clown. Run away from her, find yourself younger women and have a child.

18:30 were astonished that you didn’t see the hypocrisy back when you voted for this ding hole and for the last year you’ve been playing devils advocate for him. That’s what some people think about you. Mr jiang didn’t help either.

Lol, I live in Japan, so honestly a lot of what the book describes is still somewhat accurate today. It’s not exactly the same as it used to be, and some things have improved, but discrimination and social bias definitely still exist here.
For example, when my kids were born, we decided to use their mother’s last name because we worried they might stand out too much as “hāfu” and potentially become targets for bullying or discrimination.
From my own experience traveling around Asia for work, I’ve also seen firsthand that a lot of Asian countries still have pretty strong ethnic or national biases toward each other. Obviously not everyone is like that, but the prejudice definitely still exists.

Trump uses force,
People are starving because of Trump’s “capitalist” policies not only in his country, but at a global scale.
And his solution. Steal, hurt, murder from other countries.

Tom, Tom, Tom….patience is key. Does Trump look flustered? Keeping all your options on the table is a tried and true approach that he’s used for decades. He’s overcome many obstacles already that would have tripped up anyone else. How many times does he have to do the impossible before he’s given the patience he deserves?

Communism: ~100M dead in 74 years.
Capitalism in the same 74 years: ~100M dead.
Capitalism since 1492: 300–600M dead.
56M Indigenous Americans. 50M+ in the slave trade. 30–60M in colonial famines. 100M in British India.
They start the clock at 1917. Never 1492.
They count Stalin. Never Leopold.
They count Mao's famine. Never Bengal's.
Both teams have mountains of bodies. The team still in charge wrote the books.
Stop picking sides. Pick humans.
Saying, fuck em both! Think and be dynamic ambient flexing not rigid, small

Tom, you have a blind spot when it comes to Israel. First, the entire region was Jewish for a long time. Even up until the late 1890's, there was between 20-30% in the region. Then Muslims started forcing jews out. Many went to Europe. Then nazis started being crazy. So, as the ottoman Empire dissolved, they made a Jewish state. As that happened, Muslims were mad that jews got a state and forced most of the remainder out of the region. Jews have been essentially forced into Israel in most cases. It wasn't like they invaded. If any people's gave been persecuted, it's the jews. So, to me, the Palestinians being angry that they don't have a state is odd because they never did and the jews were forced out of the entire region. To me, muslims are the ones who have been the aggressors and now they're having to come to terms with Israel being a permanent place. Muslims run over 50 countries.

This is the discussion of our lifetime. Javier Milei said it better than anyone: to be a leftist is a profound illness of the soul; the majority of those people are full of envy, resentment, hatred, doesn’t want anyone to thrive and want to feel superior to everyone else. To believe in any form of socialism, communism or Marxism just denotes that you are either incredibly naive or incredibly evil, and by definition if you are the former you’re gonna be exploited by te second. I think that this pivotal world moment requires definitions and we can not longer tolerate an ideology that is vastly documented to only bring misery and death. Almost every politician is despicable, yes, but trust me, it isn’t hard at all to differentiate the ones who’s vision of the world leads to prosperity, free markets and the exchange of wealth between free individuals and those who are simply socialist-communist tyrants that want to rule over misery (Stalin, Lenin, Mao, Hitler, Castro, Chavez, AMLO, Sheinbaum, etc.)

I am a woman and I think like Tom.
Logic first, feeling second. When the shit hits the fan, I think “How do we fix this?” and I go into action mode. Fortunately, I am married to a man who thinks the same way, so we make a pretty powerful team.

As one of your probably very few women listeners, I really appreciate Lisa's perspective! I'm also not sold on AI but not anti-AI either. And I have trouble with the "we are in a simulation" line Tom says so often. I loved this live! Thanks Lisa! I also relate to Drew as I'm an engineer but this was a nice change

I am conflicted on the Andrew Tate conversation. Tom has a large platform and I can see where Tate's team would want the exposure. I am with Lisa that Tate is a terrible person who does not deserve the attention but at the same time the light and challenge to his point of view is the best inoculation against him.

AI is not being built to increase productivity and improve humanity. The purpose is to provide the ability to monitor and control the activities of everyone. It is the control web that will work with CBDC and surveillance feeds to enslave humanity ruled by a small oligarchy class. If humanity wishes to have any level of freedom and personal control of their lives then the destruction of data centers and the extermination of those seeking control of your life and confiscation of your labor and productivity must becomes a reality. Otherwise, may your chains lay gently upon your wrists and ankles.

There is now way iran could stall until November. Their economy is collapsing fast. They're bringing in hezbolla and other foreign fighters, to keep people from rioting. Businesses are closing fast. They're rapidly becoming north Korea.

In truth, as it stands Trump is the president america deserves. For lady liberty was built upon deception and trickery. I'm surprised that americans are shocked by any of this. If the majority of Americans filed their taxes this yr, then you are voluntarily for sale and you cant complain.

Why more regulations is not a long term means to fix imbalances:
Rules-based and principles-based reasoning:
*Rules ( an eg of comprehension at work/headline understanding – feeling and emotional ) are brittle at the edges. (The rule-follower needs the hammer because without it they have nothing)
*Principles flex because they carry their own justification with them ( can sit with ambiguity and still navigate well).
The idea that law / regulations, understood as principles rather than rules has interpretive depth that rigid rule-application lacks. (And can be captured and leveraged)
**The principle justifies itself in context, rather than deriving authority from an external source…..a principle held with its justification is falsifiable in a way a rule isn't.
You can challenge the reasoning.
With a bare rule you can only comply or rebel.
With a principle you can think (engage in a conversation).

17:40:00 okay @tom it’s your tone, not your words. The tone you use in conveying the sustain for what Mamdani does and says v your tone in conveying what trump does and says is a world apart. Rewatch your videos or have someone in your team put a highlight reel of these side by side and watch the difference.

Too much immigration with all these different cultures will lead to communism. Most those people living in New York were not even born here. We no longer have Europeans coming. We are getting the bottom of the barrel. One of the few things Trump is right about.
