Conservatives, and specifically PragerU, want American kids to be dumb. They’re defunding schools, harassing teachers and re-writing history for a very specific reason. In this video, I explore why. There’s some philosophy, some historical fact-checking and a few jokes.

DeSantis said our children need to be educated – not indoctrinated. Yet, that's exactly what they're doing by banning books and waging a war on "Woke". I'll be so happy when DeSantis is NO longer governor of Florida.

I grew up on this bullshit via homeschooling starting in the year 2000. They’ve been at this a long time. It’s taken me years to dismantle the level of propaganda I was fed, plus the crushing of curiosity meant to keep you believing it.

Well, since you chose to call everything out based on racism – let's run that both ways:
(1) Blacks hanging onto slavery and "imperialism" like a disease for the next 200 years after it ended doesn't give creedence to the merits of emancipation.
(2) Nobody gives a shit that "Thomas Jefferson owned slaves and should be called out for being hypocritical because he wrote the declaration of independence" – because when he wrote the words "all men are created equal", blacks weren't considered to be men. That idea took another 100 years and the deaths of 700,000 white men, 95% of whom never owned a slave.
(3) At this point, shit or get off the pot with the "everything is racist" routine. It's 2026 – you're either American or you're not.

It's a shame that most countries in the 1700's era owned or practiced slavery including African countries while Mauritana was the last country globally to abolish slavery in 1981. Look into the world history of slavery and you will realize that mankind has a dark side that expands across all races and ethnic groups.

In the 1980 or 1990s I remember seeing a tv interview where Trump said if he ever ran for president it would be as a republican because they’re less educated or something to that effect. Look at him now. The people who vote for him are wealth racist conservatives or poorly educated on his history and how the government actually works

What a lie! Yet another black, spreading left wing hate.talk. My sisters grandson has entered kindergarten . His mom gets weekly updates on his profession. They send as need if behind on a subject. And can help him at home. My grandchildren Have great teachers. From as heard. As well her grades truly to be proud of as a parent. The others,, learning math, science, history ABC . Not the how this guy , need drag the past into today. Gee do you refer to all black neighborhoods schools. Only students there, black,!! What about racist all black colleges. Are they being taught real American history? Or black only fantasy land. ? Look some inner city schools have problems with black violance. Blacks kill more blacks. Dah. I have never seen or heard such an absurd collection of warped thinking, dishonest analysis and out-and-out propaganda than this piece-of-crap video. Hayes draws ridiculous conclusions from mere insinuations and then tries to build on them. For example, he talks about how slavery played a central part in institutional stupidity without the first reference to the fact that in pre-Civil War America, the "conservative" party were the Democrats. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Shame on you. You're a liar and a race-baiter.

Your take on education is no different from prager u. I agree that it is bs and is entirely political based. On the other hand you use it as a base to say conservatives want you to be stupid. In reality what conservitave is saying slavery was ok? Where are they? Why dont you do a commentary on the parents at the school board meetings asking why they have books in school on how to give a blowjob. They exhist here on youtube and noone wants to discuss them. When schools try and convince your child they can be any gender they want and not involve the parent thats a problem. Thats when the parents say i dont care what you have to say anymore. If you had a incline to actually know how currency works you would know that capitalism is the best. More specificly we use a hybrid of caplitalism. Ive seen plenty of liberals complain about capitalism and have no clue why things are the way they are. If liberals are the champions of education why do i have to teach them something new every time i talk to them about our economy. For people who preach inclusivity you sure do leave alot out. Ive debated alot of young people who say socialism is the best and we need to impliment it and then they have no idea how the economy will work and how will people get jobs and will they be able to leave and what curreny structure will they use. They have nothing to say. They dont even know who thomas sowell is. Where is the i stand for ukraine people for that girl who just got merked in the train? Not a peep. Slavery only matters when its the united states, black lives only matters when its not a black individual doing the killing, womens rights only matter when its an abortion. I do care about people but the inconsistencies of these organizations lead me to believe that they dont.

Of course the title of this video is certainly true, think about it- my lovely wife and I were talking about this.
Why do conservatives push this thing about home schooling. First it's usually a bunch of barely high school grads themselves who like me graduated 20 plus years ago, but these folks didn't even attempt college.
Fast forward they're attempting to teach middle or high school level curriculum (2025 level too, think new math 😉) with kids when they're not licensed teachers or even college grads themselves.
Second- We're the only developed nation who'd even speak of such things try talk about this in Asian or SE Asian countries they'd think you're insane.
How are our kids, American kids to compete on a global level with kids from Singapore who are studying 10-14 hours per day.
My lovely wife who's a Filipina we happen to be in healthcare but her degree was 180 credits total (equivalent to both bachelor & master degrees) where my bachelor degree was only 125 credit units.

Historically governments do not want a critically minded citizenry. It isn't party specific. Secondly both parties are heavily funded by AIPAC. It might be what they and other lobby groups want.
