The Cruelest Joke In 90s Music
The Letters to Cleo Story. This week, we explore one of the cruelest timing stories in 90s rock — a band that got signed off one show, had their song in the biggest teen movie of the decade, appeared on screen with Heath Ledger, and still couldn’t sell a record because their label collapsed while they were on tour. From a Boston basement where Kay Hanley told a drunk heckler to shut up while a record exec in an Armani jacket watched from the back, to writing cartoon songs and fighting Congress for streaming royalties. The woman the industry forgot about became the one trying to fix it. Kindly like and subscribe – it really helps this channel a lot. I do appreciate it!

This VST plugin, The Stereo Sound Extractor, is BADASS -I coded it up from over 10 year’s hard research. It won awards. Now you can own it for the paltry sum of $29. Yup, I’m basically giving it away: https://burninguitfiddle.gumroad.com/l/rbiuu
