It’s a mundane form of media only meant to inform and nothing more, and yet, several incidents have occured over the years where normal newscasts have gone wrong for horrible reasons. Today we explore a few of these dark cases.

Here in England in 1991 I was 23..the case of Albert has us gripped. I can't say what he did was the right outcome but he was pushed and pushed, under a lot of pressure and he wasn't about to pay attention to planning permission rules..as many don't.
Sad case all round.
As for Hillsborough..it changed football that day..so many lives lost.. devastating!

Why do you whisper when narrating this?
Listen to how Robert Stack hosted "Unsolved Mysteries." He had a deep strong commanding voice which added to the series' impact. In broadcast reporting (and professional voiceovers in general), you must speak loud and clear. The worst news, shows, and ads are when the narrator whispers everything.
