The best kind of youtube video: promoting something I'm already doing as a healthy behavior so I can feel better about myself without any effort. Thanks!

lol. I have ADHD. Even with my phone or when listening to music, I zone out. I also do it intentionally to help get creative ideas. 💡

My mind wanders and I sometimes comment it in a positive way and I feel good from zoning out. Being in silence without scree and books gives a lot of energy. And what made you decide what is boring or interesting ? Just say in your mind: Everything is interesting.

This is why I like taking public transit. I get nauseous when looking at my phone or a book on the bus or train, so it forces me to just sit and watch the scenery. I enjoy the brain break :3

I kinda learn to zone out about 5 years ago and since then my life changed – not for better. At the beginning I felt amazing, because I used to overthink which always finished with negative emotions, but now…. Now I can't control it and I'm zoning out CONSTANTLY. I'm unable to focus even for a while, so studying became extremely hard to me, because my mind is always empty. My creativity and problem-solving skills also dropped. I feel like an empty shell right now and I have no idea how to undo it and come back to my previous state 🙁
