Anthrax is returning to the band's roots, while Metallica is just another Legacy act playing their far better hits from the 1980's. I haven't bought a Metallica LP ever since "Justice", and don't plan on buying anything that average Rock band puts out for the rest of their run.

It’s For The Kids is not about the fans. Read the lyrics, it’s about people who make empty promises and lie for their own benefit. IFTK being just another empty platitude, like thoughts and prayers.

Throwing things on the stage is nothing new. If I remember well, Glen Benton and some others received a bottle of beer but it’s so stupid and dangerous I will never understand the disrespectful people who do that.

Benediction is awesome. I hate to see Ingram step down but bands these days are revolving doors. How many line-up changes has Malevolent Creation had? More than Spinal Tap basically.

I don't think metallica is irrelevant, but they lost me with their last album and tour. I even sold my ticket to the London gig because I needed the money. They've definitely priced out a lot of working fans in the UK, but happy people are still into them..

Edit, happy birthday dude, stay safe and have a good one!

I was at the monumental Athens Metallica concert and next week will be at the Iron Maiden concert in Athens! Indeed, Metallica posted that more than 90,000 attended in the stadium so the actual number, including invitations, is probably 97,000 as Giannis said. BTW you are more than welcome to attend concerts in Greece as well! The crowd never dissapoints 🤘

The new Anthrax cut is killer. It sounds like a throwback to when Belladonna was with them the first time which is exactly what I want to hear from them.

And speaking of concert incidents, when I saw Anthrax on the tour for the Sound of White Noise album in Atlanta, people were throwing bottles on stage. Bush stopped the show to address it. Unbelievable idiots throwing things at the stage.

Metallica irrelevant???😂😂😂 How cute. They have been my favorite band since 1984 or 1985, replacing Iron Maiden. I am NOT a fan of all Metallica albums, but they try.

Sad news about Mastodon. Good news, both Megadeth and Anthrax has new great sounding material.

Now as a finishing statement check out Bloodstain – Something Sinister. Some are calling the band Testament meets Metallica.
