Would one be considered a "Traitor" if they were to (intentionally?) compromise Classified Information with folks without BOTH a security clearance AND Need-to Know? There are MANY instances of trump doing this both in and out of office. But WAIT, doesn't a sitting president have the power to classify / declassify info. Well, yes they do HOWEVER there is a process to be followed AND NOT all info is subject to personal declassification (i.e. nuclear).And WHY do we classify info? Because its release would cause damage to Nat'l security. So when info is declass on the spot just to protect trump from prosecution, the damage to nat'l security is done. AND is that not being a "Traitor"? Over 308 docs were found unsecured at Maralogo (Top Secret/ Special Access/Secret/Confidential) all potentially compromised. Not to mention the info compromised to Russia during trump's first term. So who's the REAL Traitor here umm?
