Are you some kinda genius, or something? I can't understand half of what you're saying, but it sure is interesting!!! Love your videos, thank you for drawing attention to subjects such as these!!

Would love to watch Benn's videos, but every time he pronounces an 'S', he whistles – which triggers my misophonia so hard. For this video I even tried youtube's auto translated narration in order to be able to watch the video. But then again, he speaks so fast that this doesn't seem to work either 🙁 Am I the only one with this problem?

The logical conclusion once you fight wars with robots is to fight wars inside computers. Or maybe just toss dice. I am working on a short story using that premise.

What really ticks me off with these, and kinda ai in general, is that it could be used for so many actually helpful things, but it's pretty much all billed to terrorize the poor and be a novelty toy for the rich. I guess that's humans doing human things, (aka, "Why? Because I can,") but I can't help but be frustrated at the wasted potential. So many of these technologies could do real things to better the lives of all people, but they mostly stop at, "I did something new (without considering the implications), now tell me how smart and special I am!" I guess it's really how humans function, and I know this isn't an original thought or frustration, but still, it leaves me with a very split and frustrating position of wanting more while trying to accept less. We all become history lessons in some way, but why can't we involve more minds, and actually listen, instead of relying on a few to screw up badly enough for everyone to go, "Ooooh, I guess we shouldn't have done that, huh? Maybe we need to change that…" I know you're trying to do that Benn, and I thank you for it. I'm sure many here feel what I feel, but I just don't understand why it has to be that way.

"Unless you own the robot what I did was illegal"

actually messing with radio frequencies is illegal federally so you technically committed a crime with no victim

Benn, I hope this is okay to say; I highly recommend everyone watching (unless you have paranoid delusions) go watch at least Season 1, Episode 2 of the "old" tv series, "Adam Ruins Everything," which is on security. It points out a lot of things about security that most people don't know or think about. The specific examples are a bit dated, but the reasoning is solid. That series and episode really changed how I think, especially about what sorts of things most people do "in good faith."

The construction site for the largest train station in China used AI sentinels to watch for things like a truck backing up in the wrong spot or someone in the wrong place. Apparently it did reduce construction 'incidents' dramatically. If dog robots can transverse construction sites then the safety impact could be worth the privacy issue of getting reported to your boss for not wearing a hard hat.
